lying at the table

Now lets be truthful here. We all lie at the poker table, hell that's all part of the game. But what I am after is all those players out there that lie at the tables "in general conversation while not in a hand". What do you lie about? Job,marriage,player knowledge come on what?
I'll even start it out.

When: Last year at the wsop in Vegas
Where: At the RIO, while playing in the nightly mega tourney.
About what: My real job

Ok now the lie: And older lady sitting to my right asked me what I did for a living. Thinking quickly I replied.
You know those guys that strip at less than repuitable bars and other clubs.
She looking wildly at me said "Yes"
Well I wait in the parking lot for them after work and rob them and come back the next night when the ladies are stripping and spend their money like a big spender with those girls.

Needless to say: There was no more conversation between her and I. But the guy on my left sure laughed about it for the next hour.

I think story telling at the tables makes things fun. A little white lie to liven the mood a little never hurt anyone.

I usually make up a very elaborate story that no one can follow and leaves people asking a lot of questions.
