First of all this is my first post so hello everyone. Now on to the question, I just lost a hand I thought I should have won. I had A9 off suit pre flop, a 9 came up on the flop. MY opponent had K9 suited and he won with a pair of 9's.
Should I have won this hand? I'm relatively new to poker so I'm sorry if this is a commonly asked question.

Yes that's what I thought, do online poker sites glitch sometimes? This really annoyed me as I was playing well, in the last 10 of a 60 player sit n go and the win would have put me in second place.

Apologize everyone, complete brain fart from me, I had A8, just checked my hand history and feel like a bit of a retard now. The hand was A8 me, 49835 flop, turn and river. I somehow thought I had a pair on 9s rather than 8s. That will teach me to pay more attention.

Well at least it inspired me to join this site, hopefully I can learn a bit on here.

haha don't worry about it, very easy to do.
While we're on the topic of reading your hand, make sure you read the suits correctly as well. I probably don't have the best computer screen. but a lot of times the clubs and spades look alike if you aren't really paying attention...

Yeah I've lost a few big hands where I've been convinced I've got the winning hand with high pair or 3 of a kind but have been completely blind to the flush.

Eh lost a lot of hands thinking and believing that he was winning and he was lost, having high pairs or a flop with an inner calera and maybe tur river complete a color or a full or until losing with a higher poker usually happens there is no hand Hold until you see the 5 cards at some times

the worst way of losing a hand is when you have the best hand preflop and on the flop and again on the turn feelling very good about yourself, cheering, jump up and down, wave the flag and then comes the river of death, stunned, kick in the teeth, roof falls in, been there worn the tee shirt it but we all have to go through this pain if we want to persevere as a player (still don't like it bummer) just like to add I have never seen a mistake in hands on online poker software

The most insidious arm - AK. She is a strong one. But - weak. Very unpredictable combination. Don't mess with it.

there is no possible way he won with a pair of 9s if he had k9 anf u had A9. only way was he flushed or he had 2 pair K9. if they said he won with a pir of 9s you got scammed. If it was a business u can go catch them on it and escalate it as much as u want or if it was a home game then id have a talk with my buddies

A9, K9, you can never lose the hand having the highest kicker, if it is an online hand should have requested replica, I think and feel that the software is wrong let's not forget that it is a program and may fail, I often see how it distributes the boat When you should not do it with opponents who have a higher kicker, but give up that hand you say wow a tremendous failure, now if it's game at home I think you should chat

Ladies, gentlemen and everything in between, it's time we face the music and stop overplaying ace-queen.It is singlehandedly the biggest trouble hand in poker. The first thing to accept is that A-Q suited is not a top 10 hand, but does make it into the top 20. i hate that card
