Looking to get Poker Tracker

I've read enough posts here and found that Poker Tracker is a very valuable tool and that i will be using from now on. I was at their web site and noticed that they have a bunch of add on's. Do you need these also or does Poker Tracker do well enough on it's own?

You don't need them, they're other programs that have been independently made that require PT to do what they do. PT is PT, if all you want is a stat analysing program then you just need PT.

I recommend PA Hud though - helps a lot with reading players (esp. if you're playing more than 1 table) and saves on a bit of note-taking. GT+ is a bit of a crappier and messier version of PA Hud, but it is free, so I guess one can't complain.

Poker Tracker imho is invaluable you just need to tweak the autorate rules for limit or no-limit! I have some GREAT NL rules if anybody is looking just let me know!

I've got poker tracker, but never really got my head around it. If someone could do an "idiots guide" that would be very useful I think.
