Anyone living in poker? Yes I would love to live poker, have profitability, travel the world, meet new people. It would really be amazing, and you?

From my experience and with those of my friends that play every day, all day.. it is a difficult one to bare but they were absolutely committed to playing for a living.

You first need a large bankroll/backing, and even then it is difficult. I have seen many of my friends go without a win for 30-40 tournaments at a minimum of $30 buyins all day.

My suggestion is to build up a roll like everyone knows, and to pursue it like it is your "real" job and to continue improving and not letting bad beats affect your game. They are and will happen the more that you play.

Best advice in all: Minimize your losses and maximize your winnings in every hand. Good Luck to you!

Sound advice, but it would be awesome to live from playing the game - and live a good life.

I've heard that ALL pros have gone broke at one point or another while working their way to the top. Daniel Negranu has a documentary on Netflix that shows pretty well what it takes to play for a living- Check it out

You have a great question. Not fate that you see the world with a poker. But I saw tips: who is the guru or someone else?.. I'll tell you one thing - Believe in yourself!

It is amazing.

How old are you and who are you? I don't know you, sorry. But where are you guru?

Seriously looks amazing. Unfortunately I’m just not good enough to hack it full time otherwise that’s exactly what I’d be doing. Gotta keep grinding until then.

Sound advice, but it would be awesome to live from playing the game - and live a good life.

It certainly would be but it takes a lot of work. For example, I have friends that play every single day.. literally every day go to the gym, workout, drink a smoothie and begin their day.

Most of them played non stop MTT's and would hit in some, cash in some or even lose for a week or so.. that can take a toll on not only your bankroll but mentally. Imagine playing $100 dollar buy-ins 5 times a day at minimum and producing nothing because of beats for - a week straight. That is something that I think is really important when thinking about making poker a career.

By the way, some hated the life and found it a necessity, and some enjoyed it. I can't give you the difference in winnings but I'm sure that if you are mentally sound with your play and winnings compared to your losses and enjoyed doing it - every day.. then you are good. It's interesting to learn from what they have said about it.
