Live game is less likely to be cheated if there is an automatic dealer versus if the deck is dealt from a dealers hands. Lots of cheating has been discovered in online software both with the collusion of players and even the poker site caught in some humdingers.
Do you have any examples? People talk a lot about different sites being rigged, but I have never seen any reasonable prove. The only thing I saw are some ridiculous videos showing few bad beats.
As for collusion: software is getting better and better in detecting such patterns with usage of machine learning.
i agree, but my question here is players tend to be more agressive online or live , do people do poker faces all the time like we see on wsop main events or players are talkative and things are kinda friendly
When you play live, there are so many things to track - your stack, opponents stacks, pot, chips values. It is really overwhelming at first, it is like whole new level added to the game - it turns out it is not that easy to handle the chips well at first
. You should definitely try it, when you have a chance, cause it is much different if you only play online.
When it comes to "poker faces", even on WSOP and WPT etc. it depends on the table. WPT wanted to bring the rules forbidding sunglasses, hoodies, smartphones on the table. It seems like they brought some of these rules to
pokerstars Monte Carlo championship, which takes place right now (I believe today is day 4). I haven't seen any sunglasses and hoodies and on featured table there were a lot of talks, partly because of Daniel Negreanu, who is quite engaging (he can be annoying at times, but at least there is some table talk guaranteed, when he is around). For similar reason, pokerstars started partnership with Kevin Hart (actor, comedian), who is very talkative and always brings fun to the table. It is much harder to be talkative when everyone has headphones, glasses and hoodie
.
When it comes to aggression, people playing a lot live tend to think that live games are softer. There is great youtube poker channel made by Andrew Neeme:

He talks a lot about live poker, he analyses the hands, he has vlogs about earnings. According to him, live games are softer and actually it makes sense - online you are likely to face more grinders, live you are likely to face more people who came to the casino to play for fun.
