Playing a live re-buy add-on at a place called The River Poker Room in New Hamphire. It's a $10 buy-in for 1500 chips or 7000 chips for $40. Of course I'm in for the full amount. Wish me luck.

I'm out. I raised pf with KK got 1 caller. flop was T high and I got ck called. Turn was another T and I goit ck raised all in. I knew I was behind but I stll had odds to call. He turned over the set. About 10 hands later I raised UTG with AK and was reraised by the same player. I shoved and he showed KK.

Did you go out during the period of rebuy madness?

I could have rebought, but I didn't want to invest another 50 buck in this thing and the blind structure was so rediculous that a min re-buy would barely have been able cover 2 or 3 bets. Blinds started off at 100/100 and doubled every 12 minutes which at a full table of 10 moving at glacial speeds was like a 3 minute increase on-line.

Bad experience overall. I'm not thrilled with my live play. Granted I ran into some tough hands, but I should have been able to get away from both of those losers. My opponent in both those hands seemed to be the only other solid player at the table and I should have acted accordingly. Instead I just went balls to the walls like a donk.

Wow every 12 minutes. That is not a good tournament to judge what your live play is. Try to find a good, structured tourney before giving up Live stuff. I played in one of those once, they called it a "shootout". I vowed that every Live tourney I play in from then on, I would make sure the blind structure is at least 20 minutes and the blind go gradually, not double, or they wouldn't get my cash. It turns into a all-in fest everytime when the blinds almost equal the amount of chips left in the tourney. I would not have thrown the first forty $$ away in this one.
Good Luck!

I don't think FourDogs means that he is about to give up live poker games.
