Do you listen to music while you play?

since all interesting tournaments happen late at night,we suggest that better not to do so,several times the music fell asleep at the tournaments,and no matter what listened to

Sometimes I listen to music, it helps to focus. As for favorite music I do not hear extraneous noise and fully concentrate on the game.
But sometimes, especially in the breaks, it helps you feel relaxed until they start handing out

I 've found out that my poker results are far much better either it is a cashgame or a bye-in tournament but especially in freerolls when I listen to music while playing my favourite games .

I choose trance music to listen to ,like the 'Transistance ' or the "100 best trance of 200x" collection , other times it is dance ,
like" 1000 best dance of all time" but sometimes, occasionally I choose a more slow rythm to accompany me ,in the morning or when I get tired of listening to beats .

When I reach the final stages of a tournament ,normal or freeroll , I just turn the volume off the mp3 player . When I see that I 'm close to get tired ,I stop the mysic and then I might open the tv , watch a movie while drinking a coffee or sth like that.

I've tried listening to different types of music, but I've never really been into music my entire life. I'm more of a television/talk guy, so what I do is listen to a sports talk show on tunein and/or I will have a television show or movie on in the background. This seems to work much better for me than music.

has to be the right type of music. anything with a good beat early on, but later on i find quieter softer music is usually more beneficial to my focus.

Yeah sometimes. It depends on the mood, but its times better to listen something while you wait than to stay in quite and watch the blinking player.

If My Table is TIGHT / Passive... Ill listen to aggressive rock... or rap
If My Table is LOOSE / AGR ... Ill Listen to study music... or focus music.

I think music during a tournament, creates that kind of background, which insulates from external sounds and to concentrate better on the fight, but this is purely my perception. I also like to play music when trying to sleep, by the way, for the same reason.
