It is almost funny sometimes, The game of limit holdem is A completely different animal from the no-limt. Yet in the freeroll on stars at least half the table I'm playing at right now has the raising mentality of no- limit but I have no complaint there. If I'm dealt A good drawing hand I call the flop, If I don't catch A piece, then I go away.
Sure there are going to be hands that start well, and the raisers will catch, but for the most part they fall away pretty quickly. The betting structure is now at 100-200. THE BUTTON PUSHERS ARE ALL GOING TO BE GONE SOON and it will settle into the grind of normal limit play.
A lot of players don't like limit, but I find It A good change of pace. The advantages are obvious. If you have A decent sized chip stack you don't have to risk it all to see a flop. It also teaches me patience which is the weak part of my playing tendencies at times.
