Less Freerolls

Is it just me or just does it seem to be there are less freerolls. I use to be able to play in 2 or 3 every day, now I havent played in one in maybe a month, even the private ones all seem to have gone to buyins, I mean has the recession really been that bad, I'm a usa player so my options are not the best to begin with, it just seems now they are far and wide to find?

The CardsChat freerolls are the only ones that I play in, and I have not noticed them getting any sparser, lol. You must be talking about the $50 freerolls that have like 10,000 players in them, lol. But seriously, I haven't noticed them going down, still have lots of people posting about their freerolls.

I remember the good ole days of party poker when they would have 4-6 $1000 free rolls every day, now the free rolls are a joke, Cards chat is the best free rolls that are out there, hell even poker time now chopped their free rolls down to 50 bucks, 8000 people going for such a small pots is not worth anyones time, bodog used to have 3 $1500 free rolls everyday, now they are down to 2 $500 free rolls per day, there really is nothing out there that is worth anytime anymore, poker stars free roll is a joke too. good luck but hell if you do find one that is better, please post it up.

On CardsChat, it seems to have still a lot of freerolls!
I don't know because I don't have anymore access right now, but on the calendar I saw a couple of ones for this month
Now, it's true that there are less "regular" freerolls on most of the rooms. Maybe because they got too many players playing only freerolls that were sticking around. And that's not what make these rooms live, clearly
You should play the CC freerolls, are there are less people, I think it's more fun than playing some freerolls with 8 to 10000 people, with almost nothing to win

Love the freerolls! Go to fulltilt they have many freerolls with no club to join.Can keep you busy all day long.

I would rather drive 8 hours to watch a $20 heads up match between a monkey and a lemur than play in a public freeroll online.

That is admirable Jordan.
But for some of us, we would drink 2 glasses of carrot juice if we had to, to play a decent freeroll.

i played in a $100 freeroll at ftp the other night for 5 and a half hours and got 10th place, just missed the final table...and got a sparkling rich $2...couple more of those and i'm goin to mcdonalds

a lot of the smaller sites have lots of freerolls, pitbull has a $25 fr every hour with top 18 getting paid, the players there are horrible, and most of the regulars have some attitude issues. if you play late at night there will only be a couple hundred ppl, at peak hours there's only 500...of course i think you have to make the final table to get more than the sweet 30 cents you get for it. poker4ever has $25 fr's at 2/8 am/pm every day, they pay out a lot more places so you could donk it after an hour and walk away with 3 cents! they're incredibly easy to cash, i think i'm up to $5 in my account there playing in them and i haven't played all that many...those tourney's have no ante's at all at any point which makes it so much more easy. carbon has a handful every day around 9:15, 1:15am or so are the one's i've noticed...1500 ppl, i think you have to final table to get any money, i haven't played many and got a dollar once, they also have those play money steps sng's for a dollar.

ultimate bet/absolute have a bunch a day where you don't have to play for the first hour, for the most part, and of the 6000 ppl who entered there will be 1000 left by then and you'll still have most your stack, top 18 get paid out of the $50, top 30 get a ticket to a $1000 fr. bodog has 2 $500 fr's a day right now, ~3000ppl, you have to get around top 63...it probably has the worst play still going on at the late stages, which is pretty frustrating at times...when you're AA still gets cracked by 26o.

doyle has nightly 10pm fr's where the top 100 get tickets to a $1000 fr on sunday where i think top 50 get paid, you usually get around 1000-1500 ppl in those fr's and its not hard

I love the freerolls that I'm allowed to play in & can barely wait till I can participate in CC Freerolls! I'm only playing for the 4th week ever and can usually stay in for 2 hours now! Perhaps after another month, I'll be a contender!
As far as freerolls are concerned, There are very few on UB that are not restricted, so I play the free money games to practice. They all help alot.
ON FT, I have trouble finding freerolls that I'm allowed to play.

I have been having trouble finding freerolls lately too. What sites you playing on.

Seriously playing those public freerolls everday expecting to hit it big is borderline degen.

no damian there use to be more freerolls on different sites, but alot of them closed up shop and took all the cash you also won on their site with them, I used to play in some maybe 75 pp then they kinda grew to 300 and the same thing on different sites, now its hard to find one, and the sites that are still around have 3000 to 15000 pp in them for 50 bucks and it use to be 100, yea its kinda whats the point, I even won a whole bunch of bonus points on one site then they took those away, thats all I saying

good freeroll are gone

They come and go.Some sites change it up allot.They put a satellite freeroll up then go back to cash freeroll for a bit then back to the satellite.I don't play many freerolls these days,if I do there private.I used to hate it when They would take away the freerolls that paid good(for A freeroll)and make it a satellite to a freeroll that pays good(for A freeroll)I remember loving to play this one freeroll it actually was one of the freerolls that helped me make the first of my bankroll then I had the freeroll disappear.I won't name the site but it uses a old guy from Texas for there name sake .I like the satellite for a satellite that gets you in a satellite for a tourney that you have to come in first to win something.Those are always fun.
