Most videos/stream I found on the internet are 6-max or 9-max.
Any suggestions on where can I find tutorials about poker heads-up strategy?
Or any suggestions on the ways to learn heads up?

Good question! Post flop in heads up is essencial. Choose a strategy by opponent style, by stacks, learn about ranges, combos and call river.

I play heads-up to improve my games in FT and Sit Go. It helps a lot to get a wider view of the game range when we are in the final levels.

Any suggestions of legit sites with good tutorials so I can learn in a proper way?

I am afraid I might be going to the wrong way by playing blindly with random players and not knowing what I have done wrong

The best book is Expert Heads up by Will Tipton can send you the pdfs. There is a site slumbot.com where you can play heads up vs bot .

I can only tell you from my personal experience.
The way I learned playing heads-Up was by just playing in 6 and 9 player Sng’s, it made it so much easier getting to a heads-up situation compared to trying to get through a field of 2000 or 3000 players.
Actually playing heads-up at least for me is sooooooo much easier to play compared to any other form of poker.
It just takes a whole lot of practice, but the fundamentals remain the same except you are involved in every single hand for decision making, but my rule of thumb is when not sure, just fold your hand and move on to the next one.

Hello

I didn't read a book or watch any videos to learn to play heads up. I played very low money heads up matches over and over again until I became much better at it. Good luck !

Clubwpt play chip games helped me so much in my heads up game but they took it away. Id say any site where you can find some play money heads up games or very low (.10 or .25 cent) heads up sngs, and play them over and over, will really do wonders.

I try to play an aggressive game with lots of betting and raising. This forces my opponent to make a dicision.

Heads up is the best phase of a tourney. Both players has just won big prizes and It doesn't matter the bracelet for me.I just want the money.
But it is very difficult to win a heads up.I have no patience and generally I lose and get 2nd place.

Yesterday I saw a thread like Heads up against bot, where you can train it, but you have to find it for yourself, I'm in 4 tables right now

Hello Danielcai, it's true there's no heads-up training, anywhere
What I understand is that the hand ranges are much wider, I think I saw a video a while ago, if I find you I'll pass the link.

there is not much heads up training because heads up poker is a dying form of poker. There use to be tons of heads up action online, but anymore it is hard to find steady action in heads up except at the super micro stakes.

If you have friends who play, invite one or two of them over to practice playing heads up. If everyone is trying to improve, you can play and analyze the hands. This will dramatically improve your heads up game.

Advanced Poker Training software offers a heads-up training table against AI. I haven't played it, so I can't offer a review; however, the other training table types have helped my game tremendously.

The phone App PPPoker has a heads up ladder mode where you level up with every win and will play people your own level. It would be very useful for you to practice with.

Heads Up Strategy

When playing heads up I massively widen my opening range and play aggressively when I have premium hands. But I also try to set up the opponent for this.
First, I start out by playing super tight. Now I have to war n you, this will make you lose chips heads up, so don't do it if you can't afford to lose many chips. But, I start out by folding small blinds without good holdings and fold to even low preflop bets with marginal holdings. After about 5-20 hands of this the opponent thinks your a super tight heads up player and even after you change your style, this image of you remains in the subconscious. Remember, first impressions and all that.
When I have a good idea of how they play, then comes the actual heads up strategy. First, I open my range really wide and vary my bet based on the size of my hand. It's important to mix up the betting within ranges, but here's what I do:

Premium hands, play the normal way you play them.

Any Ace or pocket pair, bet or call 3-5 BBs
Any King or Suited Connectors, bet 2-4 BBs
Any Queen or suited cards bet 2-3 BBs
Any Jack or Ten or any connecting cards which are not suited, Call 1 BB or bet up to 2 BBs
Any non-suited, non-connectors, non Ten or better, just fold pre-flop.

So the first key is you don't want to be just giving away many blinds. Blinds are important heads up because they happen so frequently.

On and after the flop people tend to think top pair is good enough to bet big. Or that you should bluff a lot more heads up than you do at a 9-handed table. Don't fall into that mentality. Post-flop play the same way you would play if you were playing 9 handed and got it in heads up on the flop. Analyze how the opponent is playing and then play against that type of player. Identifying the type of player is ultimately important in heads-up play. If they are a TAG then bluffing more is good, but folding more when they bet big is also good. If they are playing LAG then you need to be very careful bluffing, but sticking around when you have something is a good idea as well.

Finally, pay very close attention to how they are playing throughout the session. Good heads up players are going to switch up their playing style every so often just to throw you off and find the style that works best against you as an individual. It is way easier for them to keep track of your style heads up and so it is way easier to adjust to your style. So don't just start TAG and switch to LAG one time, but mix it up probably every 40-50 hands or so.
