Lame but effective..
Just thought I'd share a little something..
For the past week I have been on the worst possible run of my poker career, it's left me frustrated and depressed, i tried everything I possibly could to break the bad run but nothing worked!
People say 'take a few days off from poker' Fudge that!
That's like telling a bird not to fly!
Here's what I did:
I went to YouTube, and came across 'the Sam trickett story' a short documentary of a guy who in many ways is like me, the story was about how he went from nothing to a multi millionaire pro poker player. I then watched one about Luke Schwartz, Andrew Feldman.. (All British players, I'm British and felt it was so much easier to relate) - anyway all these pros, who came from nothing to multi millionaire pros, inspired me, like never before - I didn't search their strategies, I just got hungry for money.
After watching these short documentaries, I headed back to the tables, with a millionaire mindset, i didn't change anything other than my mindset and suddenly, things started to go my way, i couldn't lose and now my bankroll is looking so much healthier!
I know it's lame, but so far it's working for me, look up to the pros - don't study their moves, but study their personalities and mindsets!
