After starting the day with drinks in the Millenium bar with some of the best players on Ladbrokes Poker, the nuclear engineer from Northampton (who won his place through a $9 satellite, last years winner Tony Jones won through in 2 freerolls) takes down the $1.2 Million first prize in a hard fought battle against the scandinavians he found himself sandwiched between at the end.
