KK vs A5s is 66.16% to 33.42%, thats if the kings are not the same suit as the A5.

kk vs A8 off is 71.34% to 28.37%, thats if none of the suits are the same.

Generally, heads up ---

A pocket pair is the favorite over suited over/under cards by 2:1

A pocket pair is the favorite over offsuit over/over cards 3:1

A pocket pair is the favorite over suited under/under cards by 6:1

A pocket pair is the favorite over offsuit under/under cards by 8:1

A pocket pair against suited over/over cards is a coin toss - 1:1

A pocket pair has a very slight advantage against off suit over/over cards.

This is GENERALLY the rules preflop in heads up... there are other factors into it.. straight draws, if your pocket pair is needed for villain's straight draw, etc... which do change the probablity some, obviously.

Wow Mortis, I think I will print that out and leave it in my pocket for tourny play. Or maybe I shouldn't mention that . I always am fumbling through the numbers, at least knowing I have something like this will make it easier to remember what kind of odds I am getting.

You can be exact, but I don`t think it is that critical. Both hands u r about 70/30 fav.

I can`t see a massive difference between 70/30 fav, 66/34, 71/29 ;)

over pair v under pair is about 80/20

I might be wrong, but I think even the pros look at things aproximatly. What they also take into account is chip stacks, time of tourny, when this is (flop, turn, river, etc)

Sometimes in a MTT, u might be a good price fav, say 60/40, but because of other circumstances u might fold.
