That's amazing! Great job. I'm not familiar with limit hold-em, but that's impressive!

bankroll management mean anything to you? :p

Seriously, playing as underrolled as you are I give you an ETA of a week or so until busto. It seems you're running good, but be sensible.

listen to dorkus...
sure you could be outplaying the players there, but what happens when you get a bad run of cards? nothing you can do about that, and having an inadequate BR can mean going bankrupt if you get a real bad run.
either way, nice profits :)

To paraphrase my local firefighters....

STOP, DROP and bankROLL!

STOP playing above your bankroll before the cards turn sour (and they always do eventually). Consider yourself lucky and enjoy the roll you've accumulated. But playing this far above your bankroll is true gambling.

DROP to a reasonable level. It is recommend that your bankroll be no less than 300X the BB when playing Limit Holdem. That would require a roll of $6000 to play the level the 10/20 tables. I personally prefer 500X the BB for limit, but then I am very cautious with my BR. With your role, the 3/6 tables would be much more reasonable...and possibly 4/8 if available.

BANKROLL your way back up to the 10/20 tables. With the boost you gave your roll today, you've gotten a great start!

Hey, CONGRATS on what you've gained, but time to get smart.

And that is exactly why you sholdn't play bigger than your bankroll allows. That is pure GAMBLING. Playing with money you need is bad, mkay?

Let the guy play and lets see the results. He is running good, but lets treat this as an 'experiment' and see what happens

Good luck to you

I'm on a really bad run of cards but I still seem to be at least break-even every session. I can win enough pots without cards.

Agreed. The advice has been given and not well received. Anyone who can breakeven with a terrible run of cards is clearly a better player than most of us, so...

Congrats! Good luck! Keep us informed.
