LOL winning and not knowing you are winning I love it ;)

very nice win though. Personally like Omaha high not high lo, but it seems the trend is for hi/lo nowadays. Omaha hi/lo can be an interesting game to say the least, and if you have any questions just ask.

I like the player who finished 15th. LOL Congrats, my introduction to this game was by mistake. I registerd for the wrong tournament. I also had no clue, but I took 3rd. I really had no clue who was winning the low or why, I just played for the high.

Nice Finish.

I've been playing a bit of that lately too... fun game! Been reading "Championship Omaha" by TJ Cloutier and Tom McEvoy so maybe in a little while I'll actually know what I'm doing while playing. Figured out what constitutes a winning low hand pretty quickly, though, thank goodness.

Congrats on your win! :)

gfpokerfan, it's funny you should say that your introduction to the game was by mistake. Several times when I've played Omaha SNGs there have been at least one player who says "Oh no! I thought this was Hold Em!"

Trying to learn it (so I can enter the HORSE competition - while to go yet!). At the beginning I didn't play any hand without an Ace - kind of got the hang of it towards the end, and got some good cards (I think!!!).

How many of the 18 players were gone in the first 15 mins?

Everyone should play these cheap O8 SNGs, you can almost fold your way into the money in a lot of them. :)

Anyways, nice work Rob, you'll have to teach me how to play O8 shorthanded sometime!

Not many actually - the two "talkers" at my table (I can't believe they called with that etc etc) were out 14th and 15th! I played less hands than most people (usually only when I had an ace) and won a few pots that I wouldn't have at a higher level and before you know it, we were down to 3, blinds were high and it was an all in fest. H2H only lasted 1 hand.

I think the standard at pokerstars (at the low levels at least) is a lot lower than people make out. I've got my ranking (on tournament reporter) up to 95.5% (before this result). Now for Stud and Razz!

Congrats Rob! I enjoy the low-buy-in SNG's on Pokerstars, too. Perhpas I will see you there sometime.

My introduction to this game was also an accidental one. But I like it I think, even though it seems a bit more complicated.
