Was thinking of starting this but got too depressed, June sucked.
- Platinum again - Passed
- Play 60k hands at 100nl which should be enough to buy and clear another $650 bonus - hahahahaha, yeah right, 32,444 hands
- Run at 1.5+ PTBB/100 at 100nl (I was under 3 at 50nl, so I figure anything above 1.5 gives me a better winrate at 100nl than 50nl) - umm, try better than 0, oh wait I STILL FAILED
- Continue to get better, review hands, participate in forum, HA section particularly, and just continue to improve - hmm kinda? I guess I'll give myself a pass here since I definitely participated here and thought about some things, but before I play again definitely going to review my play last month with a real in-depth review. I think I may not be adjusting to 100nl very well, as evidence of the fact that I've played like 40k hands and am about even (down like $300 for the month, up like $300 at 100nl before this month). Although I wouldn't mind this at 200nl and if I thought it was really the best I could do, I know it's not, and I think I'm doing something(s) wrong.
- lift at least 5 days/week - Close, the times I didn't I had a good reason, mainly stretch of a ton of baseball games and didn't want to kill myself, but I went at least 3-4 times a week and the weeks I didn't have a ton of baseball I went 5-6, so definitely giving myself a passed there.
Too depressed to post graph, but imagine hot streak early, a heart monitor type thing the rest of the way, ending down like $300, going back to +$200 and back down to -$246.15.
July goals:
1. Study July, don't play until I have literally scoured every single corner of my game and what is going wrong. I'm over $600 down in terms of all-in
equity, but that's still not as much as I should be winning. If I find out that it's all luck and I'm the unluckiest player alive, that will be fine, but I highly doubt that is the case and whether it is or not, I'll be proving it and assuming it's not, be looking into what I can do better.
- After study period, average 2k hands/day, set aside pride and if I hit a bad run in July at 100nl, move down quickly to 50nl, there will be ABSOLUTELY NO TILTING.
- Make platinum again, should be easy goal to make me feel good after next month
- I learned from last month, no money goals, but I want to feel I've been playing well, especially in regards to my findings about goal #1 (and trust me, it's tougher to satisfy myself than it is to meet any goal in terms of money).
- Continue to post on CC, no real danger of failing that one
- Finish that damn video for icemonkey. I think he sent it to me over a month ago, 3 commentaries later and although I finally have one saved my computer crashes whenever I try to convert it. Planning on trying it on another computer, he probably thinks he'll never get it though
- Lift 5+/week on off baseball weeks, less depending on how I feel and how many games I have in a given week, never drop below 3/week
