Ok so I've play up to the 200nl level in texas holdem and is the jump from 100nl to 200nl an ankle snapper?

The 50nl to 100nl jump wasn't bad at all, in fact it didn't even seem like a jump just that the players were a bit tighter but this 200nl jump is painful. Like when you take a dump and realise you're out of toilet roll and you're there thinking to yourself, while didn't I check? Why did I jump right into this game? And it's too late, you try to squueze your buttcheeks and think about your options but they're limited to a kamikazee balance over the tap, looking like a giraffe with cramp, or you grit your teeth and soldier it to the shop with an unwiped rear cleavage causing buttrash.

In all seriousness though, is the jump from 100nl to 200nl in texas holdem the toughest in terms of skill?

I don't know for every one else but it was for me i never played solid brm so i played every thing from .10-.25 to 25-50 an 30-60(ftp used to run it).I always thought 1-2 was as hard as 25-50,i actually killed the 5-10 just about every time playing tight agg,but 1-2 3bets just about every hand check raising 40bb an shit it is a very hard level. lol i just skiped it.

At 200nl you start playing against pros. That is all.

I'll let you know when I get there. Right now I can't even imagine putting that kind of money on the table. I get nervous just paying a $5 buy-in.

FYP

Is this FR or 6max? Honestly I think the 50 -> 100 jump is a lot bigger for FR. 100 -> 200 and 200 -> 400 are similar and then jump to 1k is pretty big I think but I wouldn't know too much because I don't play it regularly just going by what I've heard.

Isn't there usually also 3/6 or 4/8 on most sites?

yes, but typically there's very little action on those. Right now at FTP, there are 2 tables running for 600nl 6max and none for FR. Meanwhile, there are 15 tables running at 1knl. So you kind of have to jump from 400 to 1knl.
