He was wearing Full Tilt gear throughout the main event until the final table due to the no more than 3 player for same online site rule he represented pokerstars.

I'm pretty sure Cada wore Ultimatebet gear in the latter stages, not Full Tilt.
Then he switched to PokerStars at the end.

I *assume* that with his PokerStars contract he can't play on Full Tilt.

And I also assume that he has a Full Tilt account *but* it probably isn't in his real name.

So my conclusion would be that someone using that name set it up *after* the wsop win so they could have the name of a champion.

Yeah. I just saw that.

He won the Full Tilt Full Tilt$750k Guaranteed in 2008 ($147k payday). He also won the Sunday Mulligan ($49,600) in 08, and last April he was runner up in the $75k GTD ($14,500).

Probably a result of the new WSOP rules - they're not allowed to have more than three players at a table wearing the same logo. Ivey, Akenhead and Begleiter (from memory) were the ones wearing Full Tilt logos so if there was a fourth wearing Full Tilt in the leadup to the final table they would've had to change.

Only Full Tilt SPONSORED pros play in red, not just any pro.

Eric Buchman switched from FullTilt to PokerStars. He only had a day to day contract with FT.

I have always wondered: How much "extra" money does a player receive just for wearing a patch/sticker from a poker website? Does anyone know the "average going rate"? I remember earlier in the WSOP Main Event that Ivey did NOT want to be a the "featured table" and the rest of the players that could have been at the t.v. table became upset about this. Anyone else read/hear about this?

Yes. Pro are different as they have contracts prior to tourneys-some even have there entry paid. The 'regular player' that plays at a featured table I read once will be offered around 12,000 dollars. This is why they were upset as they aready had deals done when Ivey said he did not want to play at the feature table. As I remember the player would get $12,000 dollars but they have to sign though a agent that takes $2,000 leaving them with 10 grand. I also heard this figure on another forum as they were discussing whether this money should be shared with backers. This figure I'm sure is subject to change for a whole lot of reasons though.

Most pros dont use their real name. I read on this site that someone thought Phil Ivey was giving money away to the railbirds during some HU cash game because their name showed up "perfectly" in the chat.

Thank you for answering this. I am kind of impressed that Darvin Moon refused to wear any logos.

I thought the pros signed exclusively to a certain site.. I guess he probably would have been playing on Tilt before he won the WSOP but nonetheless I wonder if he still plays on FT.
