How cool would this be if you set up a Private tourney on pokerstars and you

invite Mr Joe Hachem. and he comes and plays?..... not as good as you

would think.

17 players and Joe busts out in 17th place one of my Donkey mates

who has no idea picks up AQ Joe's Got AJ and they both hit top pair on flop

both get all their chips in.... and Joe's out.. chance of a lifetime to have a

W.S.O.P ME champ play in your Priv Tourney and your donkey mate knocks

him out 1st f..kin unblvbl! I was so pissed off with my mate im gonna strangle

him when I see him.

wow - I am amazed Hachem played in your private tourney. That is fantastic! I agree this was a once in a lifetime opportunity and it is an extreme shame he went out first. I can't say I blame your buddy - he had the best hand and shouldn't be expected to lay it down just because he was playing a pro. On the other hand it would have been nice to have had the chance to play more with him and chat with him and such. I certainly see why you are frustrated, but go easy on your bud. It sounds to me like just bad luck that Joe went out first. Perhaps you can find him on a table, thank him for joining and apologize that things turned out the way they did. He's a pro and I am sure he will understand. Makes for a great story though!

Wow!unblvbl ! It is the big plus in his reputation, that he has not refused to the simple player! Anything terrible that it was bit in the beginning, after all his game can be observed and of other tables! And how you have invited Pro?

I can relate..... I had Julian Verse from Fulltilt (winner of 2 FTOPS Events... Vashon Watkins) come & play in my g/f's priv. birthday tourney. Some donkey flatted his 3-bet preflop with QTo and got it in on the flop w a gutter & sucked out on him.... sick. (he got taken off the invite list for the next one..... no not 'Julian Verse'.. the donkey.... arghh!!!).

Damn thought this was going to be about how great of a guy he is or something. Then i find he was knocked out like nothing. Hope you can have him accept again.

I was at this years main event as a spectator, he was on the feature table with eastgate and dennis phillips think it was day 6 or 7. I was there solo and was able to get a seat watching.

Waited for break and got eastgate and phillips autograph joe took off.

As i am leaving he is just standing in the lobby/ hallway signing autographs and getting pictures taken. Naturally i got his autograph seamed like a great guy to me.

I'm sure that Hachem is in the top 3 poker players of the world this time. I could see him a few times in tourny and cash game. Unbelievable.
If sy wants to study poker, watch him.

He is a great guy

I thought this was a given that he is a great guy. I mean he's a wsop ME

champ and still salt of the earth. Ive always admired the guy but his stock has

risen dramatically in my book after this.

asked the Question.

How did I invite him? I just asked him. I was killing time watching the big tables

saw he was playing. Said g'day and asked him if he wanted to play. I have

chatted with him a few times and he has always been generous with his time in

the chat. More sponsored Pros should have his attitude IMO.

I think Humberto Brenes plays in quite a few micro tournies and cash games. Seems like a very sociable fellow.

Lol he caught some very good hands in WSOP. Any player can b beat at anytime.

Totally agree.

Anyone can be beat at any given night.
Well it may not be that easy, but it is definitely True.

Haha, nice! And hey, it's not like your buddy sucked out on him. Seems he had him beat the whole way. That's pretty cool, though.

Nobody thinks it's a little silly that Joe shoved it all in with AJ ?? Top pair med kicker early stages and he bets his whole stack on it? Bad play, I'd expect better from him.

Shouldn't be calling your mate a donkey... he got his money in good.

Yeah, he def had the best hand the whole time. The thing is he would of played

it exactly the same way even if he had A2off just who he is and the way he

plays. If it had been a more experienced player maybe I would have see it

different. I named it Damo's Donkfest after all, Joe prob shoulda known he

couldn't bully anyone off a hand.

wasn't betting anyone off a hand.

Maybe, just maybe he wasn't really giving it his best shot. I mean the prize money he could wipe his ass with (no offense)... the only reason he'd have for taking it down would be to show what a great player he is and maybe he didn't feel like it?

I dunno.

That said I've busted out of tournies with AJs more times than I care to remember ;)
