Is that the guy that kills people Crystal Lake? He wrote a poker book?

Taken From the Book

I remember I had pocket aces heads up and the flop came QQ4. My opponent went all-in. After careful deliberation, I reached over, ripped out his throat and stuffed his tounge into his eye-socket. In retrospect, I feel my emotions got the better of me and I would have been better off simply squishing his skull like a rotten pumpkin.

starting this month, john vorhaus will be writing an article for each publication of card player magazine where he discusses his approch to killer poker.. i suggest u read his articles then decide for yourself if that is the way you want to approch your poker game.. it is not for the faint of heart..

I own and have read "Killer poker online 2" by J. Vorhaus. It's a pretty good read but I wouldn't recommend it as an only book.

I too have read Killer Poker Online 2. I really like this author, he has great insight and a different angle on things. He is also a entertaining writer. However it is not a beginners book. Also it is not a formula book - "i.e. play this sort of hand here..." it is more a wider strategy - mind game book.

How about "Killer Poker by the Numbers" by Tony G. I listen to Tony on most Friday nights on Rounders Radio. He seems to have a solid grasp of the game.

Any insight on his book?

ALL the 'Killer' books are excellent. KP (the original) is very good for teaching you the importance of aggression in poker. Highly recommended.
