That's outstandingly pitiful. I wish I could get someone to pay me a million dollars a year to be a vegetarian. I wonder if I could come up with a diet insanely restrictive enough to get some prop bet action on it.
You just need to bump into Phil Ivey, that guy would bet a million on two flies climbing up a wall!
I find it crazy how such a degenerate gambler STILL cashes tournaments regularly.
He must have an incredible amount of self discipline to grind 10 hours a day 3-5 days straight in a
wsop event to take home a few hundred grand knowing that he could lose that in half an hour on the driving range, or playing Chinese Poker up in a hotel room at 4 in the morning. It must take two different mind-sets; two personalities he can tune into at any time.
That said, Phil Ivey is an absolute legend, recognised as a huge threat at any table he sits down at, and easily in most people's top-ten when asked to name the most important and influential people in poker. He's an ambassador for the game and still has DECADES left to hone his game and win bracelets. One of the highest earners of all-time in the poker world, and he can't be far from that top-spot!
The only concern is, where does he go from here for his thrills???
I have no doubt that in the next decade he will be the first man to flip a coin for a Billion dollars!
