Right so my question to you guys is, is it ok to at any point in a tournament or cash game to play a hand like 56s or 44 the same way i would play a hand in the top of my range? (aj, AQ, AK+...raising 3 or 4x bb preflop). Ive heard some individuals say that its good to do so that it makes you harder to read and also fools players at the table into putting you on premium hands, and base on the flop (which might give your 56s or 44 the nuts), might try to squeeze you thinking you have missed hard. Would like to hear your thoughts

It is always good to balance your range but hands like 56 or 44 are not good counters to AK, AQ. And its not just playing them like that. It has to make sense. You don't want to 3 bet hands like 56 or 44 when you normally 3 bet AK or AA. You would want to 3 bet your weak aces like A3. Because you have a blocker and can more likely rep AA.
