My sister is a part of Ladyfreerollerz and they had a post the other day saying they wanted to ban players who go all in before the flop. So they had only quality players. This all started when pocket Aces lost to an 8 3 offsuit. One reply said that they needed to quit crying it is hands like these that help good players get more chips and the issue would of never have risen if the AA beat the 83. They also said in the reply that they would probably be ban for voicing their opinion. lol. I haven't noticed any thing like this in CC. Would you want to ban the all inners in freerolls?

Lmao, typical girls:eek:
Thank goodness I am not typical:D
I think that is rediculious, ususally the AA will hold up that was just a lucky catch for the other player which is what poker is about. Maybe they should switch to rummy or something.

Ban the all-inners? No way!! If that's the way they want to play every hand, then let them. They won't win that way. I know it can be frustrating, but just wait for the right time to strike. Yeah, sometimes they'll get lucky and hit their cards like in the example you talked about, but - That's Poker.

Uhm, this rule doesn't really make any sense lol.

Furthermore it's also easy to abrogate this rule, e.g. when you got 1500 chips and get AA...instead of moving all-in, just raise to 1499 lol. You still got 1 chip left and didn't move all-in. ;) But you still are that pot-commited that your move is equal to an all-in...so this rule is totally useless in my eyes. :p

I'm in a league that bans players that play bingo. They don't say you can't go all-in pre-flop. But, if you are tabled with a player that pushing all-in hand after hand, then you report them to the league admins. The admins will ask the player to send a hand history to justify their actions.

If the player doesn't send the hand history or if that hand history shows that are just playing bingo, they are banned from the league.

IMHO, that league has some of the best play around (even in freerolls.)

Freeroll or not, that's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard. If you don't like all-ins, change your games to Limit or Pot Limit.

LOL! Yes, that's funny! It's players like that that you want to exploit. If you ever want to actually make money playing poker, you need those guys around.
