No big deal. He needed to be staked by some site cause he's down 2.5mil. He's already down 15k today in 75 hands at 25/50.

lol yeah he's being demolished at the moment. Then again, correct me if I'm wrong but he even said himself his Omaha level isn't very good anyway. I don't know why he isn't playing NL.

EDIT: Just won 18k in total within the space of a minute with 2 all-ins.

EDIT2: Then lost 18k in another hand.

So sick this action some is very donkey play but still very interesting to watch.

Anyone any idea on what his bankroll will be if PS staked him you think? 100k at least surely to be playing such stakes? Also I'm interested in knowing, if he busted all his BR, would PS again re-stake or what? lol

hes not playing nl because he is so good ppl are refusing to play with him including the likes of durrr(he took 5million of him). That is why he ended up playing omaha on ft because they knew he was weak at it and they cudnt beat him at nl. I think it is a joke personally because they are supposed to be pros they shouldnt be like that.

How does pokerstars sign up a Player that is Unknown, as part of their Poker Pro Team?

I guess the question here is... will he amount to greatness, like he did over on Full Tilt... guess we have to wait and find out...

I can't rail him right now... don't have a pokerstars account... but I guess I might start one soon ;-)

Because they are pros they shouldn't take advantage of their opponents weaknesses? Do you realize how dumb that sounds?

Let's say you have an NFL football team that is playing an opponent that has an awesome rush defense but a terrible pass defense, what do you think the team on offense is going to be running on the majority of their plays. That's right, they will be taking advantage of the opponent by running the plays that they are not good at.

How about baseball. You have a batter up that you know can't hit anything in the upper inside and bottom outside areas of the strike zone, but crushes it when it's dead center, where is the pitcher going to attempt to zone in on?

Part of being a pro at anything is knowing where your advantageous spots are and taking that opportunity to gain whatever you're looking to gain.

Wouldn't being a pro mean you know when a spot is not profitable? So why would you put yourself in that spot when you know you are likely to lose money?

There is something seriously wrong with your logic... You are saying every pro is equally matched? Then what makes you a pro? Are you instantly as good as everyone else just by declaring yourself a pro?

I think you are wrong, he was saying that he "ended up" playing in his worst position because nobody would choose to play with him at NL.:D

I was referring to his statement of why OTHERS don't play against him. Not why he would try a new game to get action...

And we are saying the OTHERS are smart for not playing against an opponent that will crush their souls. What incentive could the OTHERS possibly have in playing someone that is better than they are ?

Well of course Pokerstars knows who he is, they just are playing along with keeping it secret so they can promote the hell out of it.

yea thats obv true but the fact that they treated him like crap about it they always said theyd play nl with him after he played omaha but they never did especially durrr he was scared of him (some pro he is). I think its a bit unfair he did what they wanted but they never returned the favour. like the hole point of ft was to "learn chat play with the pros" I dont see why they should be going out of their way to not play him it doesnt seem curteous or professional. Like if you are a pro you should have no problem playing anyone at what they want to play and be respectful about it. phil ivey and patrik had no problems playing with him because they are professional. look at what hastings did cheated by getting hand histories from townsend etc. They arent being professional and it is shit etiquette what they all did to him that is what im saying they are calling themselves pros but definately arent acting like them. He deserves a run for his money.

People know who he is, at least the people that need to know. How else would PokerStars have gotten a hold of him? When he signed up for an account (before he was signed) he had to give his real name, ect. This is good for PS because now more people will be interested in Isldur1 being at their site, ect. I understand his tactic but it's kind of annoying that he has been hyped up all this time and is still hiding his identity...... He will revile himself at one point or another.

Pokerstars signs Isildur1

Yup, PS signed him and said that they will soon reveal his identity. I guess it's no big secret that he is Swedish pro Viktor Blom, but it hasn't been proven  so I guess it will be pretty interesting when they make the announcement....:hmmmm:

it is amazing how you all know he is down 2.5 million. most people know about his account on fulltilt, most people don't know about his accounts on ipoker network and entraction network.

several times i gave account names he has on different sites (actually ones that people suspect belong to him) and i am not going to do it again, but just because he is down on his account on fulltilt does not mean the guy is broke.

actually from what people that know him he simply can't be down 2.5 million dollars because he never had 2.5 million dollars before he started playing poker, apparently he started with 2000$ on his first account Blom90 on ipoker and ran it up to 1.5 million dollars or something like that, played with it until nobody on ipoker would play him anymore.

While I agree with the promotional side I can't see it being kept secret forever, purely based on the fact they make money on the sponsored pros being at live events. If the idea was to keep him anonymous for an amount of time then they would of just made him team online as opposed to fully sponsored pro like Daniel.N, Jason.M etcetc
