Isildur has sign a sponsorship deal with a major site not known as of yet. it has been reported that the swedish high stakes poker player has hired a manager and has being working out a deal for isildur1 for quite some time. Signing will reveal if Viktor bloom is isildur1 or someone else

Love to know where this source is at as well. I thought for sure it was Bloom anyways, would be surprised if its someone else.

Yeah, if he were to sign anywhere it should no doubt be with full tilt seeing as this is where he plays the most anyhow, and I can only imagine the bonuses you would get for signing with full tilt as opposed to some small time site...

Yeah, if he were to sign anywhere it should no doubt be with full tilt seeing as this is where he's played his highest-profile matches

FYP

He needed a huge roll to be able to play in those matches and he didn't win it on Full Tilt - he will have played a bunch of the European sites as well.

I'm also very skeptical about him signing a deal. It just doesn't make sense for someone who's gone to these lengths to keep some kind of uncertainty about their real identity. Unless he really is busto and desperate for the cash or something.

I agree with coolnout if Isildur signs anywhere but FTP it would be a dissapointed because hes the reason why the nosebleeds tables were crazy a year ago brings alot of railbirds.

Right now, any isildur sponorship is just rumurs. I looked on hightstakesdb and they had an article on possible sponsorships, but nothing really substanial. Who knows, he may not even want to get a deal.

Right now, any talk of an Isildur sponsorship is actually just second-string sites trying to get themselves some media time.

It's a pretty safe bet for them, when you think about it. They can make a big public sponsorship offer and because they've used the magic "I" word the poker media (especially the less cynical / more desperate parts of it) will all run the story, giving exposure to the site making the offer. In the meantime the site owners can sleep soundly, knowing there's pretty much zero chance of Isildur coming forward and actually taking them up on their offer.

LOL marketingaments.

I don't care where this Isildur plays as long as he is unmask. I have been wondering for the longest. This fellow have been one of online current famous mysterious person whom have played with the top players and high staker players. Also been one of Durrr tough opponent. Show yourself are ready!!!

I havent read much of 'BankTheMan's' blogs, but this is kind of a silly move by him. He seems to be a childish attention seeker IMHO.

I think his source is fairly relyable, as the Swedish poker community isnt that big, but to go out with something like this before you can confirm it, and before its official is probably not a good idea.

As long as he cant confirm his sources, or anything else its just loose gossip, but I guess he cares more about # of readers than jounalistic integrity.
