I'd invest your money or some of it on a poker training site rather than a poker site.

I personally would consider investing in cash and play cash as your bread and butter full time hours. And play your tournamant once twice a week sunday being one and maybe an evening in the week commit a night to tournaments. I feel constant tournaments can stop us playing our. Best especially long structures. If we play less we have higher focus and desire and also enjoy the variant of change.

Also the reason I say cash games is because once we are able to start profiting at 50nl we we are starting to make serious money and we are also building up our fpps. Which youl will find soon rack up!!
Use the fpp points to play sit n gos to sunday storm and convert the money to your account you can realisticly withdraw 50 dollers a week while not losing your bankroll from cash games.
so even if you dont make huge profits you can make 11 dollers to every 6max sit n go u finish in the top 2. For just (275) fpps

this ^
because seriously only 'you' should know what games/format etc. would suit you. You know yourself far better than anyone else does. ie. how could I suggest you to play something when I don't know what your strengths/weaknesses/preferences/experience are?

lol

good luck and play whatever you are most comfortable playing.

i think investing in coaching is also a great idea if you can afford it. Just invest in someone who is amazing at coaching and start at micro levels.

You should invest in an online poker training before starting the grind. Also play what you feel most comfortable, whether cash or mtt.

Thank you all for your honest posts, suggestions and advices. I appreciate that a lot. The thing is, believe it or not, I really don't care that much for money. I'm not a rich guy but I do have all I need and this 1k I made on poker from scratch, I even made it more but I was feeling bad to gamble. Now this money is for play only and it's already 'thrown' if you know what I mean. Either I will make more, either I will lost whole sum. Trully, my philosophy of poker is to have fun and enjoy the great game. I have learned so much about myself, about my emotions, patience etc. One thing never changed and I love that, I am playing always only with the money I don't need or for last few years, I play only with won money. Now, I want to put this cash on one site and play it few times per week, seriously gambling and trying to make more. .

Its good for you, but then, I dont see why are you asking us, which games should you play :) Just pick games which YOU likes the most and have fun. I wish you best luck :)

Id play 25NL cash games to begin with and see how it goes.

If you drop below 650, stop and come back to ask this question again.

Since you won the $1k playing poker, it seems reasonable to assume you're a winning player at some level. Depending on how solid a winner you are, you might simply consider taking some shots at the next level up to see how the play is there.

As for what to play, play what you enjoy / what you feel like. For me, it's mostly MTTs, but with some cash and STTs when I'm in the mood.

I used to feel the same way...till I lost almost all my bankroll in one drunk night. The next day, I thought of what I could have bought with the money, gamblers remorse sux.... maybe cashout most of it and buy yourself something special, have fun with the rest.

cant agree more. try playing live games as they are far more secure than online poker. if you want to play online try investing 100 or 200 dollars and start building a bankroll. its not worth to risk so much money if you cant win on the lower stakes. with 1000 dollars you will be able to play on nl10 maybe nl25 and stt and mtt of 10 dollars in order to preserve a good bankroll managment.

investing

I would play both cash and tournament games just to add more money to my account. Then I would play in the 100K tournament on Sunday.
