Yes, let's play poker was the first book I ever read and it helped me a lot about starting hands and how to play at the beginning, middle, and end of the period of the game.
And as you say just because of how it was written and easy to understand I looked for Kill Phil and Kill Everyone.
I would say that Let's Play Poker is a mixture of Kill Phil and Kill Everyone and for beginners, and it's really great to meet with that concept and the way of the game. Kill Phil is more based on the push game while Kill Everyone really gives you a complete picture of how and when to play certain hands depending on CPR and CSI, you should be familiar with the terms CPR and CSI if you read Let's Play Poker.
For my taste and the way that I would like to play poker Kill Everyone is the right book.
