It contains a detailed summation of the legal status of online poker on the international, federal and state level, from the government viewpoint. Everyone should read this report to understand how our lawmakers, both federal and state, view the legal status of online poker (and online gambling).

Looks like one legislature is trying to figure out what to do. Hopefully they pick the right option.

Hello,
Here is what I hope. Barney Frank has a "friend" that plays poker and has his ear. Well really I hope he has both ears, in his hands. And him and Barn hatch a plan to legit US poker, and the guy has the know how, and the money. (MONEY not that big a deal since it seems to be everywhere.... ie... stimulus pokurus maximus!) To be really fair though the US poker site should be publicly traded. But that will not happen I fear, and some politicos bed mate will make a killin on it! Maybe they could say it will make a big payment to healthcare reform, Yea that would work. And you would have to base the poker co. in Chicago of course. (Those guys would run fair games RIGHT!) Sorry tryin to be funny.

I really believe this is the best time to get online gambling out behind the legal eight-ball. The politicans are desperately looking for any way to raise money and the tax revenue to be gained cannot be ignored.
