Not only was he a donk he had donks at his table, look at hand 2. Call all-in on T8 os and A5 os, and then hand 3 that's just ridicoulous, he flops trip 5's. LOL. Why do donks get all the luck?

What I don’t get is, if these guys know he’s shoving every hand, then why limp or raise preflop and then fold when he predictably shoves? If you aren’t willing to go all in on your hand, just fold it. I noticed that dude with the pitbull avatar did that a lot. Then he calls all in with QJ offsuit LOL (and gets lucky). Notice the underdog hand won most of the matchups. That is typical FT magic.

I can't quite believe that, this is fulltilt, you telling me no premium hands came out?

Enjoyable viewing though.

I'm interested in how people think they counteract it?

A great example of how NOT to talk into a microphone. Hope he isn't a communications major...

I swear, I'm the guy that keeps these guys running, too. =/

Seems like every time I sit down at a table I see guys like this going berserk. I finally get a hand like QQ or something and figure, "Gotcha this time." and they show AA, KK, AK or something.

Really? You've been doing this every hand, but NOW you have an actual hand. Great. FML.

Same with a table I was just at. Guy was 3-betting pre-flop every other hand. He also folded every single time someone 4-bet him. So I get a decent hand, raise, he 3-bets, I come back at him, he shows AK. The one #$^#$^ing time. ><

I lose so much money to this crap, I just need to stop trying to "read" these guys.

It's a $2 sng and he states before the game starts he is going to go in every hand, how does this make him a donk? I'ts an experiment that worked and the donks were the other players at the table imo. Is Obrestad a donk for playing and winning an mtt on PS without ever looking at her cards?

That was hilarious. Definately not a donk though. Just having a bit of fun in a cheapo. I've done similar things.

This is the same strategy that a lot of people use in freerolls. Try to get lucky at the beginning and use your stack advantage. The player who ended up second did not even bet until he was in the money. A lot of people panic when they see this type of player in there and think they have to "save" the table. Against that big of a stack advantage you can only call with strictly high value and with the blinds so small why call with anything other than AA or KK. I think the second place guy played it right and went in with good headsup hands and got second for it. I hope this was strictly an experiment, but hopefully some of the players out there will copy it and make things a bit easier for solid players at the SNGs.

I had ''bad luck'' like that yesterday. ;) Somebody went all-in on every damn had, then I finally got AA. He all-in, I called.. He hit a set on the river with his pair of 10's.

This was the most amusing video I have seen for a while. I wish he had not laughed so much into the mic, so i could understand everything he said. But he is no donk, as has been stated above. He had a plan and stuck to it. I would have had to switch gears at a certain point I think.

But as he said, I felt sorry for the people at his table, but more after the fact. I have seen real donks going all in every 2-3 hands and I kinda like havin em at the table.......

Well since this is the only game i have seen, maybe he is a donk, but not cause of this game. Maybe hes great, maybe he posts a serious game sometime to shed light... lol

It's funny you gotta admit. But when it happens to you it sucks. That guy was such a luck-box. Considering the way he was playing, I would only call him with monster or premium hands.. such as KK, AA, QQ. S*** happens though.

I'm not sure whether you know it or not, the OP is not the guy in the video.

I concur, That had me LMAO.

Yep, I don't think he was a Donk either, he had a plan and he stuck to it, it maybe a silly plan but it worked.
That was too funny!!!!
I agree

I agree. Poker is a lot easier when you know exactly what your opponent is going to do.
Granted, any donk can still get lucky, put the certainty increases your odds considerably.

When I'm trying to figure out what a donk is thinking, I just ask myself, "what are you thinking?"
