In your opinion, who is the best poker player and why?

I have to go with Phil Ivey because my gut tells me to.

Every day I study more hours and play more hours than the rest. I am a better poker player every day that I get up.

Phil hellmuth hahahhaa i am just kidding but it is crazy he has 15 bracelets... Phil Ivey is definitely good also but the best player in the world is myself by far !!!

My favourite poker players its Daniel Negreanu, Phil Ivey and Fedor Holz. These are the players of the highest level, they literally read their opponents and very often win top tournaments.

Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, and Fedor Holtz. Antonio for his clutch play and reads, Phil for his crazy antics to mix up your poker game, and Fedor that has absolutely no fear with calling with something like ace high and winning.

If the criterion is money, then you open the "All Time Money List" and here they are.

Most best players don't have bankroll. Most players who have bankroll to play big tourneys are not so good.

My best players are Fedor Holz ($26,746,838), Erik Seidel ($33,333,457).

for me is the best player Daniel Negreanu, he is a champion and should continue to be a further champion in many tournament - events, I like the way he plays in tournaments- more luck to him!

what is the criteria?
it is easy to say phil ivey who is famous for his skills...but then i call to mind texas dolly for an example...and thats the problem

My favorite player is Daniel Negreanu because he is a good reader, has a great character and good humor. Also, he is half Romanian so definitely my choice!

In my view Daniel Negreanu and Phil Ivey are some of the best poker players in modern history. But, no doubt, besides them, there are also many very strong players.
