Aha, I do have the hh. Turns out I had AA, the flop was AQQ, he only had QJ and got the remaining Q on the river.:hmmmm:I guess I can't count to 4. duh...Further, I guess in my hand, there were 5 queens in the deck because I swear my hand was AQ, the flop came AAQ, my opponent had QQ and spiked the 5th Q in the deck on the river....oh well, I'm getting old, lol. maybe I had AK, the flop comes AAQ, the turn gave me my boat with a K and the river was a Q, I wish I had the hh for that one, but oh well.
Exact same thing happened to me in a tourney recently to bust me out only with one big difference. I was the "Sammy Farha" in that situation and my opponent was the "Hudson" but my opponent caught his one-outer on the river for quads to bust me out.
I would absolutely GII here. Ax hands are down to 3 outs, JJ-KK are down to two, everything else is drawing dead, and Sammy Farha is like the worst lag in high-stakes poker. I am not about to put him on the only two hands that beat mine -- they're like 3% of his range on the flop and 5% on the turn (he has like 3 iterations of AT and 3 of QQ on the turn, vs 12 of KK/JJ and anywhere between 20 and 101 of Ax depending on his preflop Ace range, which being that this is effing Sammy Farha is probably all of them).
That was completely and utterly brutal. nh Sammy.
Well since the most likely outcome in playing the WSOP ME for any player is to bust before the money....
After the initial shock, I suppose I would be glad the poker gods didn't make me wait 3 days to bust JJ to KK in some super standard spot with 25 BB or something.
