I have no idea how this happened.

In a FT freeroll, I accidentally showed up about 10 minutes late, so no big deal. However, despite the fact that starting stacks are 1500, I somehow had 1620 in chips when I arrived. Now, there's no way that there were enough rounds yet that they could have folded around to me that many times for me to collect small blinds. How could this have happened?

Are you sure everyone started with 1500 in chips?

Not saying this would be a definite reason, but it is possible that a bet or two was made going around the table and you (sitting) checked the BB. After a flop, one or two players got disconnected on their turn and ran out of tume without reconnecting and their hands were folded, to you the sitter. It can happen.

It's one of the things I don't like about FT. Sitters often win hands they shouldn't even be in. Sites like Stars folds you if you aren't there to play your hand. FT even lets sitters who are blinding out win hands.

Yeah ive seen this before i have got moved to a table where 3 or 4 were not even there and the other two at the table did not realise they were absent. They were limping in then checking to the river and beaten in the showdown by the absent player . I had a field day for half an hour stealing blinds
