I was just surfing the net when this ad came across my screen. "Pokerspyware v2.0":deal: see other players hole cards!!! WTF?.. is this some kind of joke? I swear to god when I read it I wanted to throw up like a billygoat, im putting my lawyer on speed dial. seriously WTF is going on here? And to top it all off its available at.....Office Max? $179.00....WHAT? Im truly sick to my stomach right now:puke: . This cannot be true, and if it is? im done with online poker! And I have wondered sometimes when I have a nut flush, why in the hell some donkey is hanging around with 4 6 off and nails his boat on the flop and chit like that.

Let's look at this a bit. poker sites are continually looking at programs like this, if you check through the main websites you can usually find a list of banned programs that you are not allowed to run while playing poker. And, if you have the capability to make a program that was undetectable and truly let you see what cards the other players at your table had, would you use it to bilk the poker community of massive amounts of money or would you advertise this product online where all poker sites search so they would know about it and stop it. Chances are the program does not work as advertised or your poker software won't run at the same time. But then who are you going to complain too, " the software I bought to cheat at online poker doesn't work as the manufacturers said it would!!"

Obv a scam. Ask yourself, if it really worked why would the makers sell it for $179 ? They could more easily just use it, and make as much as they wanted.

If you ever get an email from a guy in Nigeria who wants to help you claim your lottery winnings (for a lottery you never entered), for heaven`s sakes delete it. You are obv gullible. ;)

I just searched OfficeMax and couldn't find it. Please post a link to the OfficeMax listing for us to see.

I still cant believe people fall for the nigerian email scam, like how stupid does a person have to be?

Ive heard of people GOING to uganda/nigeria or some african place to claim their ($26,300,000) they got robbed/tortured and then usually killed by their invitors.

Honestly, they deserve to die if they are that stupid, LOL

Whats that law, Darwins I think its called, where humanity gets rid of idiots in the genepool by killing themselves off?

there is the ongoing theory about programs for reading cards, the poker sights putting in designated players, etc etc. if there is cheating, there should be bans on the sights, but how do ya really know. its usually called a bad beat.

its pointless getting it now imo, 95% of players have it now, so it just cancels each other out, giving the people without it the actual advantage against the majority of people at the table using it ldo

^ this.

And even if you could buy it, and it did work, it still couldn't predict the cards that were coming on the flop. So it still wouldn't help the donkey that hangs around with 46o and nails his boat, because there's still no way he can know he's going to hit.

I don't think this is real...as said before, why would you sell it to someone else. I think they would just make some serious cash themselves.

This is an old one.
Most are just scam sites offering nothing in return for your cash. However, there was a program (but not anymore) that had a very limited capability to see an individuals hole cards by using a trojan to their system and taking a screenshot of the hand. The simple use of a firewall made this useless.
Besides, if you have a program that can see all the hole cards would you...(a) sell it for $179 or...(b) make yourself a multi-millionairre over the next 12 months by using it yourself?

P.S. If you really believe you can get this software I've got a really nice opera house in Sydney you might like to buy first.

EDIT: There WAS a way of seeing not only everyone elses hole cards AND the turn and river prior to them being dealt but it only ever worked on very old site software that is no longer used (and hasn't been for years). If you want me to explain it I'll put it in a seperate thread as it's quite complex and will take a while to write out. It's pretty interesting though for those that are into that kind of stuff.

Can we do a three-way swap with Paris for the Arc de Triomph? Now that's a monument :D

Acutally, we'll take the whole Champs Elysses if it's for offer. Would be willing to trade the cities of Adelaide and Hobart in return

...or something some people miss; would you say you have program which reads hole cards when in fact it actually reads the purchaser's hole cards and returns info to the program's owner? Get enough people to buy it, put their username in, search their name on X site and milk, milk, milk... Then, even if X site bans said program and locks programmer's account, if they've sold it to 1K, 10K, 100K people, they still have the 179K, 1.79M 17.9M$ that X site can't touch.
