I feel this an obvious answer for most.

But I've been steadily playing cheap games I guess, I get a nice poker-bankroll built up from freerolls and tend to play 1.25 games on Full Tilt.

I don't like to risk much since, I consider myself a hoarder of sorts.

But since playing poker and not making a deposit, I would love to be more risky with the money I do get. I feel 1.25 games are ridiculous, you see and all in per second, and huge raises with nothing, granted poker IS a game for the ticker of skins, I don't mind it at all, I play a lot, it's fine but it's more that I'd like to play with players who aren't playing the way they are just because it's a measly dollar. I say that because my friend who plays more expensive games, $10+ says the quality of play is 10x better and less 'donk filled'.

So for more feedback, does anything one feel bigger money = better play?

Not a theory. I'm just curious about the play at a bigger price.

seems like you do good when you play the 90 player games. the bigger field regardless of price you bomb out early. you did good on the $55 tourney. my suggestion, find on gameand master it. if its $1 or $100.
I started $1 -9player game and have been getting to the money more than anyother game. I've doubled my bank roll in the last 2 weeks.
45 or 90 player games on ft pay good when you get to the final table.
good luck, have fun and grind out a few games and let me know how it goes.

If you are interested in good play join a small sit in league. This way you get to know everyone and the play is usally better.

Try a happy medium- higher stakes and few players. Let us know how that goes. I crush the sit and go's at the casino. It's great. When you have to drive somewhere, it tightens people up. Do you ever play live?

I do not play in higher stakes but I have heard yes there is way less donks, but you also must keep in mind there is more money at stake so ppl may play more aggressive to get that so if you are an aggressive player you should have no problem, if you find yourself folding the winning hand because someone bluffed I would think twice.

As you go up in buy in the play improves but $10=10x better, not really. Best thing to do is to use good bankroll management to move up. Try the next level & let your success & interest dictate when & if to move up again.

Ive played in $1K entry into MTT and many $100 in Brick and Mortar. I still play in Micro limits as well online. I find that there are some very tough good players online for these micro limits. Just that the fields are larger. But % wise I think the amount of terrible or weak players in these higher tournaments
are comparable.
The young guys who are reading books and going to poker forums and coaching sites are all playing the micro limits trying to build their BR. While those that have a good income are entering into higher limits in a game they dont know a thing about.
Before you step up in higher levels get control of your game. That is beating the lower limits by altering your game according to the realities of it. However if your BR is up there then by all means step up.
