Chris moneymaker won , not because he was the best player..or even a above average player { IMHO} ...he won because of 1 or more very lucky hands , when he put all his chips in, WAY behind..and hit a miracle card .

The one hand he did this is, was when he had a weak underpair...vs AA ...and the flop came rags....and the opponent put moneymaker all in ...and moneymaker CALLED..and even said " I know im in bad shape"

and guess what..moneymaker hit 1 of his only 2 outs...and he doubled up, when he shoulda went broke and not even made the final table.

THIS IS THE LUCK OF NL HOLD EM..ESPECIALLY IN TOURNEY PLAY.
