I won over 1200 bucks today in casino. I took a break for about a month. Went to casino last week and just played 2/4. Only won 120 bucks but I had fun and didn't care. THen today, I played back to 5/10. I started with 300 and got upto over 400. And then I was dealt Ace 10 hearts. Someone with pocket Kings raised pre-flop to 5 times the blind. two people called(they had QQ and 56 hearts). I was big blind. I put up 40 dollars more. Flop came out 2h8hJc. I checked from big blind. Guy with Pocket Kings pushed all in. All of us called. I hit my heart on the turn. During pre-flop, pot contained 200 bucks. During flop, there was over $1300 in the pot and I had to put up all of my chips were slightly over 350. So 1300:350 is 3.7:1 to call. I hit my heart on the turn and won over $1600 pot. I stacked up my chips, made it exactly 1600, gave rest to dealer, and left. Felt so good after getting bad beat about 1 or 2 months ago. For info about my bad beat 1 or 2 months ago, go here to read about it.

I usually don't celebrate suckouts but I just had to write this in this site because felt so good after getting bad beats month ago. Just gotta say, For every bad run of cards you run into, you also run into hot run of cards once in a while. Wonderful day today. I'm prolly only going to spend 200 bucks and put rest into my bankroll. My bankroll is slightly over 15k now.

For those who are running into coolers and bad beats, don't lose courage and motivation and keep very good bankroll management because for every ups, there are downs. For every downs, there are ups. I lost 800 bucks about month or two month ago through two consecutive bad beats but I made up all of that plus 400 more just by having proper bankroll management. It is a very nice sunny day.

Ok.

Heres the thing

U made a good hand. Won a big pot.

Stacked it to a even amount

Left the change for the dealer

And walked away?

Dude... Seriously... Great on winning and great on breaking your string of bad luck but dont come to a poker community and admit that u got lucky on the turn and turned around after winning and left the table.

No offense my man but serious lake in poker etiquette.

If u worded it wrong ok but i think that in this situation with a big pot you have to see a round of blinds or something.

Those guys were probably cussing u big time if u scooped and ran before the next hand.

I know i would

Ok, I'll admit that it was a lack of etiquette to leave the table right after I win bcz it's a huge image of "hit n run" or "hustle and roll". But I left the table for several reasons.

Reason 1: Guys with Kings and Queens were mad at me. They're not gonna be happy. Guy with Kings was already starting talking shit about me "can't believe this guy puts up all of his chips on a draw and sucks out" One asian old man and one old caucasian lady who weren't even IN the hand were already giving me a mad-dogging look against me like I can already read their mind of what they're thinking about me "wow, this guy's a fish and won a huge pot"

Reason 2: While I'm up, it's better to save it, take a break, and then join different table with 300 again and have better bankroll management than to lose 1600 which includes all of my hard work I donked hard for plus my initial money.

Reason 3: People were hating me in that table when I hit my flush on the turn. I already have enough hate by the whole table for donking out. I only feel bad for guy with pocket Kings. Guy with Queens shouldn't even be mad bcz whether I won or not, he never would've won anyways bcz he was behind kings the whole time. And the guy with 56h, I was ahead of him the whole time. If there's someone who should hate me, it's only the guy with Kings who should be mad.

Reason 4: My roommate barely got even for his money and wanted to leave while he was even.

I left about 45-50 bucks or so for the dealer since I left around 10 yellow chips(each yellow chip was $5). That's MORE than enough. I have to wait about 2-3 rounds till I become big blind. But I hit my adrenaline when I won the huge pot and I couldn't stop myself from enjoying the huge pot I won. At least I didn't celebrate or scream when I hit my nuts and won. I celebrated with my friends after I got out of casino. I have manners and etiquette of not celebrating when sucking out.

alright dude. iam drinking. was spead reading ur response. Heres the thing. If ppl are pissed ... THERE PISSED. The cards remain the same. Sure u practiced good Brm but if u stay the next cpl rounds and still dont play ur not a hit and run and u still got ur roll.

Second. If u got a table where u got it in with the nut draw and three paid u off when u hit ur odds why leave with what u got and start with 300 at another table.

Isnt this action that ur looking for. Isnt this the image your looking for after playing so many hands? You say While I'm up, it's better to save it, take a break, and then join different table with 300 again and have better bankroll management than to lose 1600 which includes all of my hard work I donked hard for plus my initial money.

You donked hard for? Not to hard... Stay there and do it again. When u start losing then bounce.

Get your money bro when u can.
