I mean come on why do they not play right ???
You could even be in a real money game and they still do it.
The only time i will push allin is with AA or trips or a full house.
I know you all have been getting the same thing in the forums. But i would like to put a vote on the problem and how we should deal with it......

Not sure what games or stakes your playing. But if it's a cash game and I'm playing with a maniac, then thats just a licence to print money imo. Why would you chastise an ATM!

Depends, if it's one of FT's 100FTP freerolls, then don't bother, hell I did it last night and I actualyy won with so many BAD BAD hands, but in real money or high value freerolls, then maybe get angry.

QFT. But also watch some high-stakes games. You see a lot of pushing with draws and such. Pushing all-in with less than premium holdings is not always bad poker. Now from your post I'm assuming the players you are playing are bad players. Why the hell would you want to punch them? Wait for a hand and let them stack off with their crap vs. your premium hand.

Cake.

Ban them from what? With the exception of collusion I don't think anyone should ever be banned for their play. Sure it can be frustrating but you have to let them play their game and you play your's. In the long run those players should be nothing but profit for you.

i say cake also. but additionally, perhaps some anger managment or time away from the tables would be good for you imo. punch them? i have gotten upset at people before at the table for making what i considered a bad play but i havent considered violence as a remedy for it. i would hope you were joking because if your truly mad enough to hit someone after a beat, then maybe you shouldnt be playing.

Gus Hanson would agree
.

Those shovers are just a jackpot. You and the other players just sit around waiting for big hands, then you shove when you're a 2:1 favorite. You'll get in much tighter spots late in the tournament. So so what if you get unlucky and get knocked out earlier?

No doubt!

These guys are a blessing the majority of the time. And I will take the odds. Fold out till you hit - and pop'em. Yeah, you will get donked now and then. And it'll make you want to scream sometimes. But more often than not, patience will win the day.

:eek:yes i was joking. I have had AA cracked by them to.
I do tend to wait for a hand and push all-in first i seam to win doing that more then just calling :D
But you know whats even funnier is when you beat them they get all mad:albertein and call you the donkey :hahaha: and then the whole table asks how is he the donkey you went all-in with 28os and all i have to say is :musicus:

LOL

It's when you can make your chips with them you like them, but you lose all of your chips you don't like them.....

lol...i see them all the time in freerolls. If you have the patience, they aren't too hard to beat.

Its funny that you brought this up because yesterday I was playing in a freeroll for something to do...and there was a guy who easily went all-in 25-30 times in a row. Sometimes he had good hands..sometimes total garbage. Before I got busted out by him, he had roughly 20,000 in chips. I took him on with AK...he had 3/7 offsuit and caught a 7. Brutal....

If you want to watch something ridiculous..the full tilt cash game at the aussie millions is being broadcast quite a bit now. There was a guy who was a self-made millionaire from the dot com boom of the 90's...total tech geek who probably lives in his mom's house still. Anyways the guy was loaded and was playing against Hansen, Ivey and several other full tilt pros. He played with every single hand..most of them garbage...and really took them down alot. He even got excited once when he had a 5/7 i think with a 7 on the board but two painted cards. He even said he wanted to go all in but didn't (he would have been crushed)..but it just goes to show that some people play poker for the rush/thrill of beating people rather then actually playing a good game.

I actually saw an instance of someone I thought was an "all-inner" Turns out...the guy got about 5-6 bomb hands in a row. As one or another player would call, he's crack 'em with AA or AKsuited or QQ. All premium hands. And then...when I thought he couldn't possibly have another one, and I was dealt JJ..he had rockets again, To say the least, I was out finished OTB and placed just out of the money. Pretty sad.:argh:

tho that must be nice to get hands All premium hands back to back like that.
and from the first time i have played i have not gone all-in on every hand..
I have only been playing since may of this year:)

I personally just sit and wait for the appropriate hand to beat them. They may get a few good ones in a row but normally it is hard enough to get a playable hand let alone a raising one every time. If on a ring game and you do not have the patience switch tables.
Oh and I voted cake btw
Only because my standard bastard wasn't an option.

Well, it is a playing style, deal with it. I go all in a lot when I am short stacked. I also do it a lot if I am playing "normally" and some guy, probably you, always raises me out of a hand. For that player it seems the only way I can defend myself is just to go all in first, otherwise I make a normal raise and you reraise often enough that I suspect you are just raising me off my hand. And it works, I fold. phooey on you. I have to go all in.

Cake, of course.

Apart from that, there are a few cases where going all in every time a hand is folded to you is a great strategy. Bubble of a STT where you have a significant chip lead for instance.

Another case is the early stages of a freeroll with a prize pool of $10 with 10000 participants, going all in minimizes the time you spend on this crapshoot and frees up time for real poker with real money. And in the rare cases where you double up several times in a row, then you can actually play big stack bully which is kind of fun.

yeah i know when your in a tight spot you have to do it, I have been there some times ;)

The only part that would fell on that would be a calling station;) But then again you never know.. Yeah it would be nice to be up there with them chip leaders..... And it would be so nice to push a stack bully around:D:D

Sometimes you love them and sometimes you hate them. Personally I like to either let these guys take themselves out or call with face cards that are paired. Good players at the table will eventually help you to get these guys out. Winning once agianst these guys is usually good enough to keep you in the tourney because they usually get knocked out around the first four levels.
