hi there,

i am playing the lowest stakes possible and trying like everyone to build a br. i using the br/30 = buy-in rule and playign, i think, ok. but man am i running bad.

if i flop trips, someone has fullhouse,
if i am ahead to the river, you guessed it
when i hit trips bet out more than the pot on the flop and most times ai on the turn putting opponents on the flush only for them to hit on the river
i have flopped 3 str only for the board to come runner runner for a split.

is there any justice in the world?

Yes there is, things equal out, but it takes lots of time and tons of hands. This belongs in the Vent section BTW, your feeling is a common one, but is really just short-term cooler and frustration, nothing about justice at all... You are not the worst player, but soon will be if you keep thinking the cards are out to get you. And no, it is not rigged...

No justice at all..you're the only person in the world whose hands don't hold.

Patience is the key to win poker games. Wait for the big cards like AA,KK and bet all in with your chips. Good luck and may the force be with you.

Come on guys, the guy is obviously a beginner and is looking for advice. There isn't a need to make a mockery of him is there?

To OP, Makwa's advice is right. Things will even out in the end, you just have to stop thinking negatively whenever you start to lose a few hands. In order to win in poker, your opponent has to make more mistakes than you. Sometimes his mistakes will pay off, but that's what keeps them coming back. In the long run, you will be the one with the money. Keep studying the game, keep putting your hands in, and constantly try to improve. And don't ever feel like you have to keep playing when you are getting tired of looking at the cards. Sometimes the best thing you can do is take a break. Best of luck to you.

The op doesnt sound like a beginner, he does however sound like someone who has been knocked about by the bad beat stick quite a bit, hence why I suggest he step up a level to where better play can be found

I see where you're coming from, but to be honest if he is having a tough time handling bad beats at his current level, I think it'd be a lot tougher to do it at higher stakes.

patience is the only thing i can preach. and you suck out too, but probably don't remember it because you just moved on to the next hand.
trying to build bank roll eh? take your time. i am finally stable above $100 now after 2 yrs of trying to build from scratch. (could've done quicker but i've had to go months without playing at times)

the difference is that in the lower stakes games, the bad beats are more frequent but for little money

whereas at highstakes the beats are less frequent but for a lot more money
