Its pretty sick I feel for you guys, I mean literally just finished watching bet, raise, fold (I finally got around to it)

have the american government kept all us based players money? 150million? or has that now been given back...

If not its F******* Wrong, people have worked for that money if its changed hands it has come from money given to them still completely unlawful.
granted they can ban the site, but in return the least you guys deserve is your money back

The government hasn’t given back the money yet and we are still waiting for a nation wide online poker law to be enacted.
If you live (or are visiting) Vegas you can play but with all the live casinos why would you want to play online?

I feel it is coming (the money and the poker site) but damn it’s taking a looooooooooong time

It would be nice to have a BR due back it could be used on live scene,
It's still insane though, I guess they felt there were too many people enjoying a free and happy life from full time poker. Which we all should be allowed but hey, apparently freedom is illegal now

I too miss playing on the big 3 networks. In fact, I don't think I ever complained about the money I had in my account when they went away. I lament the fact that the big 3 sites are gone much more than the money I lost when they were taken down.

Yeah, I really miss Full Tilt as well. I can't believe what a difference a little software can make. I really liked their layout.

I don't think it's going to come back to the US. I think we are going to be stuck playing in little playpens where we can only play with others in our own state. Living in California maybe it won't be so bad, but what about those living in North Dakota? How many players can you connect with up there? The whole thing just sucks.

Pokerstars!!!

I'd take the new and improved Pokerstars owned FullTilt, but screw the old FullTilt and their scumbag owners.

If it makes any of you feel a little better, it's not as good as it used to be.

No 27% RB from the start. You begin at 0% and gotta grind to get 25%

home of the brave? if you were so brave you would not have gotten poker banned and would of stood up instead of creating threads about it, online poker in the usa is forever gone, the usa government is much smarter than you and did not make it illegal for no reason, they want your tax money and for you to continue paying them and not spending your time chasing your poker goals online and being able to possibly make a job out of it, my suggestion is you live your backwards country but im sure you do not want to give up your mcdonalds and privilege of paying out the debts that the usa owes to international banks...the american dream my friend is dead, but i would not mind moving to canada they have a stable economy and do not rely on taking out massive debt to have a good standard of living
i just spoke the truth!!!

oh and full tilt is nothing special, very few of the top lithuanian players i know play there, pokerstars is much much better, i mean even ipoker is probably better than full tilt, so funny how people think ftp has a good software, maybe if you are a 8 year old child and like those cartoon avatars...ftp is nothing special
pokerstars is the way to go

The USA probably gives away more money to it's enemies each year than Lithuania's total GDP.

lithuania is nothing man, it has no economy it relies on the european union to keep it afloat, we have few jobs here and the ones there is pay next to nothing, there is no industry here or high level of anything, its basically a european version of russia except without the vast military, natural resources etc. lithuania does not take out debts either so it is basically nothing but a good old poor country...im gonna leave just like the rest of the young people who have common sense, add to that im pretty much american lived in usa from 6-19 years old, im 20 now...will study in capital of lithuania for a year and then fly up out of here
uhm...lithuania is good for one thing though, taking advantage of other people and being corrupt just ask tony g

I miss tilt and stars. nice low buy in tournaments and supersoft competition.
Plus tilt always had the freeroll to their dollar tourney. Granted it was a hyper turbo shove/donk fest. but if you could get to through the first 20min you should be able to get your ticket. Stars just has so many freerolls, low buy in tourneys, and prizes it was just crazy. I was playing $10 sngs on both sites and taking a $1k from both of them every month. I miss the good old days

I cared very little for the old full tilt poker and felt even before BF they cared little for the customer and were just stashing all the money in their pockets as fast as they could. Unfortunately, I was right. I might play since it is now owned by PS, but I always preferred the look and play at PokerStars

LOL, thanks. Helps a little.

home of the brave? if you were so brave you would not have gotten poker banned

Bravery has nothing to do with it. That's just one of the consequences of living in a republic. Sometimes your representatives screw you. Or sometimes the representatives you voted for don't get elected. It happens. A lot. But if enough people fight back, over time, things change. That's just how it works.

my suggestion is you live your backwards country but im sure you do not want to give up your mcdonalds . . . but i would not mind moving to canada

What, Canada has no McDonald's? Talk about backwards! :)

As for debt, we are rapidly approaching $17 trillion, so yeah, that's becoming a real problem. Unfortunately, a lot of our current politicians in office don't think it's a problem. Then again, unlike many western European nations, we have the ability to print money at will, so maybe they're right. Who knows. I suppose we could stop giving money to various third-world nations and institutions such as the IMF, but I think our debt problems run much deeper than that. In my opinion, we need to stop playing world cop with our military. That would save us a lot of money for starters.

the american dream my friend is dead

No, it's still alive and well. Sure, it has changed a little over the years, but for the most part, people are still doing what they've always done. I just did a quick wiki search... In 2006 the United States accepted more legal immigrants as permanent residents than all other countries in the world combined. I'd say the US is doing alright. Sure, we can do better, but when has that ever not been the case?

Yea but the fields are so much softer, its worth it. Like i can only play 1 or 2 tables at 2/4 etc but its worth it being softer.

Dude nobody can tell it was going to happen or that they were shady, up to black friday nobody thought they were shady, they paid their withdrawals on time. Yea the support was a little bit slow to respond but nothing before BF was an indication of any true problems. Obv that wasnt the case but there was no way to say so before hand. Hindsight is 20/20.

I don't miss the S.O.Bs! They owe me money! I keep a Full Tilt hat that I won as a reminder of a brand that should never be allowed to operate again... especially in the USA when it becomes legal!
