today is the day when i`m officially becoming the believer that the pokerstars software is rigged. You may not believe me, most of you want proof , i dont need it i got 2 working eyes and i see it. I play lots of live games and i never see THAT MANY coincidences. Why is it that a lot of hands few players hit good cards? when you hit your set somebody else hits a straight...just when you hit that straight somebody else hits a flush.. Just when you hit that flush somebody else hits the full house.. and its on and on and on... I play live and shit like that dont happen all the time... it does happen but not 20 times in 40 hands!!! When i play live games, if somebody hits a pair that is probably the best hand on the table.. but not at the POKERSTARS website.. somebody else has a set and sombody next to him has a flush but wait !! its not over yet.. the last guy just caught a royal flush!!!! wow !!! what a crazy game.. yeah.. thats POKERSTARS for you every tournament i play... BULLSHIT... And dont ask me for hand histories to prove it.. if you are one of the people that play on POKERSTARS you see it all the time... and no.... I`m not one of those players who put in their $100 on pokerstars and lost it and now feel cheated because they dont know how to play poker... I won some and i lost some. I actually won more then i lost but thats not the point....

well i need proof to believe anything

funny, cause you believe your parents, teachers, friends and random people when they tell you their stories that they could have made up and dont ask them for pictures, videos paperwork or hell knows what, but when you have plenty of players complain about the same thing over and over again you need proof...

You'll need proof to be taken seriously here or you'll just be laughed at. Sorry.

Well you know that only poker sites create hands that induce betting...That is why you see so many bad beats. They are trying to get the players to bet the highest amount possible so that they can collect on high rakes. It isnt that the site is rigged. It is just the poker sites are trying to collect more money. Also as someone else has said you don't see anywhere near as many hands online as you do in real life. So you can't KNOW for sure anything.

(I am pretty sure that is true...Think i heard it somewhere else as well :))

I have seen this happen more times than not. I don't think it is just stars though. It is all sites. The RNG (random number generator) for the sites are not all that random. They can be predicted. Pay close attention to the hands that you are winning and losing with, I think you will be amazed how often they hold true.

wow, this was even more disappointing than the 3 random HH posts as proof online poker is rigged.

But you know what, you're right. Pokerstars is obviously rigged. I mean it's totally possible that the site with the highest traffic could totally be rigged and you're the only person of the hundreds of thousands that play there daily to have noticed it. That's totally logical.

I know its rigged ... I can just FEEL it.

With all the scandal recently with UB and AP I can see it a bit more plausible, but the cheating at those sites were where the cheaters could see hole cards, not manipulate the next card to come.

you know what.. MAKE AN EXPERIMENT.. ask nine friends to play with you a live game.. play 50 hands and see how many times will you have you guys catching straights, flushes , full houses at the same time somebody else catches something good. and then go online and see if you can compare it to 50 hands on pokerstars..

if you are one of the live game player you notice the difference in online game right away.. whats considered to be a monster hand set of 4s in live game is crap online because another person next to you just hit a set of 9s and the guy next to him just hit a straigh... how often does this happen in live games? i bet you it won`t happen in your 50 hands of live game... but would happen at least 3 times on pokerstars

the reason u will see more big hand vs big hand type situation in online poker is because due to the speed of the game, ur going to play way way way more hands online and the more hands u play the more of those situations u will see

i lol at a 50 hand sample, odds are u wont even be dealt a pair of 4's in 50 hands

I actually believe the game engine for poker sites are designed to induce aggressive play.

If you have flops with draws you will encourage

1. Fish to call you
2. Players who have a good but vunerable hand to bet to protect their hand

Over time as the fish catch their draws they call more which in turn induces a higher "protection" bet on hands to stop them doing this.

This means higher rakes, people get knocked out of SNG's tournies alot earlier so they can jump on another table.

As you can probably guess im a little on tilt :) , ive not actually lost any money though but i have lost out on a lot of profit due to people sucking out they're draws on me at a higher than normal rate in recent weeks.

I'm play differently online to when im on a live table because the whole game plays differently.

It has nothing to do with "believing". Thousands of players have PROOF that it ISN'T rigged. I've seen PT databases with 1 Million+ hands that have zero abnormalities in hand distribution, winning %, or any other stats regarding "rigging" hands.

To make the assumption that YOU, based on your concrete "I seen it" evidence, have shed light on what would amount to be the biggest scandal in poker/gambling history is pretty ignorant given all the information out there that says otherwise.

Take a deep breath, count to 10, calm down, and regain some level of coherent reasoning. The bad beat couldn't have been that bad.

It's not about a bad beat... as i said i won more then i lost i got nothing to complain about.. I am just saying that when comparing a live game to online pokerstars game there is just too much of a difference in the amount of GOOD HAND coincidences .... too many people hit too many good cards at the same time!!... and if you want me to go back to my tournament hand histories and pull them out i`ll do so... in one tournament i`ll show you so many coincidences that they no longer are a coincidence but rather a set up!

No, there's not. You have no proof that this is the case, and other's have proof that it isn't, as stated in my previous post. Posting random hand histories isn't going to prove anything other than that particular hand happened. Compile a database and search for abnormalities.

So you're just here to stir up controversy on something you have no proof of?

What everyone is trying to tell you is that 50 hands is no where near enough of a sample to decide anything.

Do this for me. Take a deck of cards and deal out nine hands of holdem cards then 5 community cards. Assume no one folded and see how many times two or more people in your imaginary deck think they should have the best hand.

Do this 100 times and see what you get.

Remember, online is anonymous and you don't have to look the player in the eye after you sucked out on your four outer to win the hand. Players stay in hands way longer than they should online to try and catch the card(s) they need.

And i am saying all of this after getting knocked out of a $22 tourney becasue my set of threes were beat by a set of sevens that were both made on the flop. First time I have had a set over set hand in more than 10,000 hands.

ok i gave you and example...

play 100 hands at home with 9 people and play 100 hands on pokerstars...
if you going to have the same amount of straights and flushes and full house upsets online as live i`ll believe you, but i`ll bet you that you wont. Example few days ago we had a home tournament.. 9 players.. we played 3 hours probably about 150-200 hands. we only saw about 2 straights 2 full houses 3 flushes. most of the winning pots were pairs.. A's , Kings whatever... now i played online yesterday night as well and in 100 hands i saw more flushes, sets full houses and crazy upsets , if that doesnt ring a bell i dont know what will...
