I think I do a little better in nitty tables than loose ones as well but don't do to poorly at loose tables. Can't really give any advice but good luck at finding tables that you do well. Best of luck :)

Usually this occurs when you are a very lag player, you tend to be able to bluff these nitty players more than other lag players. I just suggest tightening up your hand range at loose tables. Identify the guy you think you'll stack up against and do it.

Yes, the general wisdom is to tighten up at loose tables and loosen up at tight tables.

Keep in mind that at loose tables you'll experience a lot more variance, too, so downswings will be much more pronounced.

Stick to what you do best, if you're playing well vs tight players then keep it up. I prefer loose tables, not that I do very well on them I just like a lot of action.

You just need to learn how to adjust. I find I play fairly well against nits myself, but thats because I know what hand ranges to put them on. I've found that when a flop comes 255 I will often get stacked by a lag, because for some reason they are always holding A5 or something stupid like J5s (which happened last night).

I hate playing with nits because they only call if they have the nuts. You win a lot of very small pots off them, but if they become involved you know you're in trouble.

Absolutely great advice - do the opposite of the table you are at. But prepared to open your range regardless and to fold if you don't hit. No point trying to bluff at the loose tables, you'll get called down. But start calling down more with top pair and loose tables do have more aggression in terms of semi-bluffing and middle and bottom pairs, etc; And of course, pay attention to everyone's style. Many loose players tend to be more prone to bet the pot on a semi bluff and have nothing at all. If you have a tight image, it will be easier for you to bluff them, just don't try it often.

I also am more comfortable against tight players than loose ones generally.

I think its because a lot of tight players play far too predictably and I know what hand ranges to put them on, and can often make very good reads on their hands.

Loose players on the other hand I just don't know what they're going to do or what they have.

At some point it isn't fun anymore just picking off the blinds. YOu find yourself limping in with monsters just to get some action.

This is were you get into real trouble and why a lot of people lose to nits. Play your game and grind it out, I suggest multitableing to make things less boring.

Any advice?

It depends what you mean by loose tables. If you mean tables where the regs play loose, it's normal. Laggish regs are usually better and certainly harder to play than taggish regs.

If by loose tables you mean tables with loose fishes, then it means you're not paying enough attention to the specific leaks of each individual fish. Fishes come in very different styles and you need to figure out which to adapt properly.

Great points.
raise a-bit more. :)
tightening up does work, once he starts stacking off to you he will start to play tight to....
Also watch for what hands make it to the showdown, watch his betting patterns.

the easiest thing you can do is work on your table and seat selection. If you can spare 5 minutes before you play, look threw for very tight tables.... Loose tables are beatable at high stakes but i woudl stay away from them at the lower stakes
