Hi mates!
Some other thoughts run in my head. Regarding skills improvement in the game.
Supposing it goes like this that number of played hands at the table is limited.
You have to think hard before opening your hands and get into a pot.
Because you have restricted number of allowable hands which you can play at this table. Consider this for a moment, would it improve the skills of players? At that point every one supposed to think twice before enter to the pot with trash in pocket hands.
Thank you for your thoughts.

Out of curiosity what would happen to you, If you "used all your hands"? As every player would eventual run out correct? So how would this game work?

You will be moved to another tables with new allawable number when you have spent your number at previous table. This idea of game format might be attractive for those who want to change the table before the system will shift him as usual this comes.

It has a similar effect to Zoom, except that you don't move every hand.
Instead of moving to another table with a new allotment of hands, once you go over your allotted number of hands, you must ante in addition to the blinds. Once you pass the next level of hands allotted, the ante doubles. By putting in extra money for hands, the player must be a little more picky about the hands they enter. You could call it a handicap game, similar to the stroke handicap in golf.

I don`t understand how that`s supposed to `help` you improve? Would limiting how much you can bet improve it even more? Makes no sense,,,:icon_scra

Poker needs maths. It is a mathematical sequence. This means that you must see it from a higher view and be patient!

This would certainly create a much tighter environment but this is already achieved by lowering the rate of blind-increase in any tournament of any style.

What you are referring to is already existent in poker and many mid-game decisions in MTTs seem suicidal but if you take into account how many blinds you have left, playing manic can make very good sense ESPECIALLY once you are in the money. I go fairly suicidal once I'm ITM and if I miss will even suicide-bluff the river and not care.

To me profit is profit, playing like a maniac at worst gives me small profit and at best profits me massively once ITM. There is just no way to get in the top 5 out of 140+ and have played intelligent TAG poker that whole game unless it was rigged for you.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Every rational person would play very tight pre-flop.

Since everyone is playing only premium hands pre-flop, pre-flop bluffing would be reduced greatly.

3-Bets pre-flop would almost only be done with AA or KK.

There would be fewer flushes and straights, since players would not be playing suited connectors. This would reduce post-flop bluffing, since many of the best spots for pure bluffs come from being able to convince the other player that you have a straight or flush, and many profitable semi-bluffs are made with draws.

These things are fun to think about, but it would be a dull game to play.
