how many hours must a beginner play that the quality of his game wouldn't get worse? today I played 8 hours, I didn' focus on the tournmnt I took part. I was constantly distracted, I think I played much better a month ago when I just started playing poker, and the more I read about this game and the more I play - the more I lose :joyman:

I get too much unnecessary information, it worsens my playing

I think you already answered your question, it's not about hours, it's about years. How do you want to improve distracted? Should work on that.

You should be asking how many hours away from the table does it take. Want to get better, ask better questions. Get specific with where you need help. Post some hands you might want to discuss for analysis. Even hands you won have benifit for maximin value.

Many different ways to get better than playing at a table for hours and leaving frustrated or distracted.

Play the poker

I just love to play poker.
Some time you lose a little, some time you win, it is exactly as sportsbetting and
casino gambling.
Just love to play.:)

Poker is about analyzing information, I think more so than it is chance.

The chance element is always present and is easy to react to, but we tend to make it more difficult than it really is.

The skill element is mitigating the mistakes you can make and capitalizing on the failures of your opponents.

Do this enough times in a tournament and you'll win. :)

Whatever you do, keep learning and keep playing. You'll get there.

If you are tired, make a break, it always helps to improve concentration. For a good result and achieving your goals, you first need to start concentrating on the game. I am sure that concentration is the key to success.

You cannot expect to be a winning player in a month. Play Play Play Play and Play some more. If you cant do this then you might want to find another hobbie.

Poker is an evolving game. People get reads that you don't even realize your giving. You have to keep playing to keep up with the trends. If you don't like the game already, you might not want to put in the hours it takes to improve.

There are too many nuances in the game to master in just a few months. I remember when I first started playing, ABC poker was all I knew. Pot odds, EV, and such, pretty much defined my game. This was such a limiting approach and it wasn't until I made a concerted effort to venture outside the mathematical correct thing to do in a certain situation that I began to learn another dimension of the game. So, continue to play and allow yourself to very your style from time to time. It may sound like I'm talking about balancing, but that's only part of it. Distractions will always be there. The fact that you are aware of yours is a good sign. And it never hurts to take a break from the game from time to time. Don't allow poker to define who you are.

I don’t know how for other players, but when I played a lot before, it helped me learn many moments in the game and understand the game well and learn the game normally, now I play in my free time, but I think that if you play more games and tournaments, there will be more chances for victory!

Hi.
Poker is my favorite hobby. Sometimes, I also lack concentration, but I always try to be concentrated. I play to enjoy the game and if I understand that I'm tired, I just do not start playing.
Good luck.

You should read some article about the psychology of poker.
It is normal to feel tired of playing poker, when you lose for some time, when so, you have to take a couple of days to rest from poker, and then return with everything.

I try to play so that poker does not become a burden to me. Didn't take more time than I can afford , didn't bother and didn't take my money. No need to read a lot of poker information . Otherwise you will have porridge in your head.

I am a streaky player. When I play my style I do okay if I am also lucky. When I get off my game I do badly even if I am lucky. Getting tired gets me off my game and that definitely affects you so start there. Getting desperate to win is the other thing that gets me: be patient.
I would suggest reading and listening to others but slowly work their suggestions into your game as you judge them to fit your style. Remember you can make the right decisions but if unlucky you will still lose. :top:

after 3 hours of play I feel too tired to continue playing at my best. You have to stay focused to hope to make big winnings in poker. It's true that a good poker player needs to improve his stamina, but gradually.

I think 2 hours twice a week would keep you from getting rusty.

It takes much more time if you want to improve your game.

But, it depends what your goals are.

If you are just having fun then that is great.

If you want to build a bankroll to play bigger limits then that will take time.

If you are too tired to play then you must find a better time in your day when you are not tired.

Good luck !

You have to be able to take the good with the bad. Sometimes you run bad and sometimes you run good. Poker is a combination of luck and skill. Sometimes the skill is there but the luck isnt. Dont get discouraged you will find you grove eventually.

This is a misconception. You'll play better every month. Just a paradox - the results can be worse. You have to endure this. And to learn more. Over time, you will see that the level of play and the results have increased.
