My wife and I got Netflix a couple months ago, and after watching Rounders it suggested I watch 2M2MM - this reality show about these kids who are multimillionaire online poker players looking to make 2 million in 2 months while in Vegas.

I noticed nearly every online game they played in was a heads up match. In many of the books I've read, getting into a showdown against one other person puts you in the best position to win; however, does this transfer over into a 2 person game from the start. It seemed like it must be working well for them, and it got me thinking how the chances of getting better cards and also successfully bluffing one opponent are probably much easier than doing so at a table of 6-10 people.

It's decently high variance but it's extremley deep and requires continual adjusting. It's considered a purer form, because most people these days are just betting for value, and never stone-cold bluffing (semi bluffing is a different story)
