HU Challenge to Cardschat

I'm making a HU challenge open to anyone at Cardschat :]

you put up 100 to my 200. we play 15k hands HU and whoever wins gets to keep the winnings from the poker + the money we put up.

Anyway... there are obv a few conditions, im out of it- but off the top of my head:

1) .25-.50 min (nl/plo obv) 2 tables min. all tables must be same stake
2) can change tables anytime eff stacks are >250bb
3) have to reload when stacks are <75bb
4) $$ won in the challenge is kept obv
5) same stakes the whole time
6) not open to zachvac

hmm probly some other stuff but im out of it b/c i jus got owned @ some scrabble.

--figure'd this would also be a way for me to make a few HU vids for CC :p

----if i dont get enough ppl that would be interested, I am going to open this up to zachvac, in which we'll play without odds. :)

15k hands is a hell of a lot of hands for HU. Probably take a couple of weeks at least to get this done.

i wanted to make it a decent number of hands--i figured since we'd be playing multiple tables it wouldnt be too bad

ill make it 10k hands if someones interested :)

With all due respect, I think it may be prudent to give us some background knowledge of yourself. I mean if ppl are gonna take up this challenge, to save them getting stung they don't really wanna be playing against a 100/200nl HU reg. Thanks in advance.

No disrespect taken. What info would they need to know? I'm not asking any information from them-although I'm willing to answer questions.

If you have a particular question just ask :p

OK, well you have relatively few posts and we have to protect CC members who may enter into this rather naively. So giving us some background information to your normal stakes, what games you play etc etc may just give ppl a little bit more of an idea before they start parting with their money. I know your giving them attractive odds, but they're also risking 10-15k hands worth of bankrolll as well. And with due respect, you must think you have some significant edge if your willing to offer random ppl odds of 2:1, albeit limited to $100.

Alright, I'm not really trying to get CCers to enter this without realizing the terms or anything, I would hope that if they would agree they would know what theyre getting into..

I posted a similar challenge on Facebook for my college's poker forum, but none of accepted as of now.

Stakes I typically play are anywhere from 100nl-400nl 6max/hu.

If no one wants to do it, I know zachvac will take me up on it :p

I don't understand this challenge at yall. You want some one to be locked down to 15k or as you restated 10k hands with a min of 100bb,at .25 .50 which would be $50.Max that some one could win from winning the challenge (not the tables obv.) is 4 bi.Just don't know why some one would commit there self to the 10k hands when they can make the money in one session,or i could be wrong.

I'd probably do it ff i wasn't on partypoker and you wanted to play nl200 and escrow way more...i don't see you getting anybody playing nl50 for this long and only putting up 200 to 100. If you are doing nl50 i'd think you'd need a good $500 put up to make it worthwhile for the huge hassle soemthing like this would be IMO.

No, they can win much more then 4 bi's. They have to keep playing me until we play a total of X amount of hands. So lets say 1 of us drops 4buyins within 5k hands. They have to keep reloading and playing until the challenge is complete--or they can forfeit and the money we put aside as part of the bet goes to me.

i'd be willing to put up more, the only reason I put up so little is because I know there isnt very many players here that play midstakes and would be willing to dothis. over 15k hands you can lose a lot of buyins and I dont think many CCers are rolled for that.

Well nl50 is basically microstakes, so any CC midstakes players wouldn't really be interested anyways. And anybody who might take you up on this would have plenty of buy ins for nl50 for sure, and there isn't much incentive to play a (presumably) compentent opponent for 15k hands without some decent potential payout at the end. IMO there is a huge discrepancy between the amount of money potentially won over 15k hands, even at nl50, and the escrow amount - so where is the incentive? Just my 2 cents as to why you shouldn't be suprised when nobody takes you up on it.

quite frankly i dont care if ppl dont take me up on it. zachvac already said he would play me.

why play the same person for 15k hands? for fun maybe?

so how about this then, ill make the challenge for 400NL.
I'm probably going to get less action for 400nl then i would for 50nl.

make the escrow amount 500? okay. but I doubt any CCers would do that as well.

Seems like your getting kind of upset that nobody wants to take you up on your challenge.... Honest to God if I weren't getting ready to make a withdraw for my Vegas trip I'd take you up on your offer... However withdrawing all but $100 wouldn't leave me with much to play with.

I still lol everytime I read the part about scrabble.

Anyway, I can vouch that he's not a high-stakes reg (and if he was why would he hustle people at 50nl that'd be kinda dumb).

I don't know a ton of his online history but I know him in real life. Knows what he's doing but like I said not a high-stakes reg or anything.

The OP actually says 0.25/0.50 min. What's the max? Assuming you wouldn't play if someone asked to play 500/1k.

edit: Also don't get why I can't get odds when people better than me at HU do, but I guess I already said I'd play you so you kinda have no reason to now lol

lol yeah, maybe i should make a scrabble bet.

actually tho--i will offer out a chess bet if anyone wants to play me on FICS.

and yeah .25/.50 min-max depends :p

to zach- how about no odds, but whoever loses has to wear this at turning stone for a full day ;)

I would be interested if you lowered the required amount of hands. Maybe 2-5K hands?

My profile tells you all my sn's on the different sites. I would consider doing this challenge once I am done with my HU sng challenge I am currently in. I would prefer to play PLO, but if NLHE is what you want, I would play that too. We can discuss further through PM when I am done with my HU sng challenge.
