I've had good results on a couple of sites (incl Bodog) with my Wells Fargo debit card, running it just like a credit card (
visa). From what I've heard, this seems to work with most "brick & mortar" banks, but not with many online-only banks. I have looked at some of the alternative "e-wallet" options, but I've found that they all charge near-criminal transaction and/or monthly fees, so the debit card option is by far the best in my opinion. By the way, I've never tried an actual credit card, nor would I recommend it due to the exorbitant cash advance fees and rates most card providers charge.
On another note, if you don't have one already it might be a good idea to open a separate checking account for poker, anyway . . . this helps you manage your
bankroll, and you can limit your potential losses due to fraud by only keeping small amounts of money in there, just in case anything ever goes wrong (although I'm not worried about that with any of the major
poker sites).
Hope that helps a little. . . .
