I don't know if I am the only one but I get so stressed out that I have to go take a short break and just feel like tearing my hair out at the odds some people hit. Maybe this game isn't for me :/

Welcome to the world of on-line poker. Most of us take bad beats the same way. Usually, most also take a break just to get their heads straight. The ones with tons of experience usually just shrug it off and wait for their next chance, taking it all in stride. Me, I'm somewhere in between. Learning to take the beats is the biggest step in continuing to play. If you can't get over them, poker is not for you. But I think you can learn to deal with them, so just keep plugging away and continue to learn. This site is good for that.

How badly you take bad beats has a direct correlation to bankroll management imo. When those bad beats have a serious impact to your bankroll its going to feel a lot different

If you get it in good that is all you can do. Keep the percentages on your side and it will work out over time.

Pretty much this, I get much more mad when I make a bad read than when somebody hits a 2 outer on me.

When things do not go well, I take a couple of days free of poker, and after that I keep trying.

Try to count to ten and breathe. even when you think you have it someone shows a better hand.

Why get worked up over one bad beat when you are going to have thousands (maybe even millions) of bad beats?

They still affect me. Throughout my life, I've hated losing at any and all games.

But like others have said, you're going to get sucked out on in poker. A lot.

**You can curb this by playing well within proper bankroll management.**

I don't get stressed out because I don't worry about petty stuff like bad beats or things I have no control over.
