$5 RUSH 6 max LIMIT.

Start at 2 tables, as I usually do, and usually one dies and the other does decent.

Should I consider it a $10 buy in, meaning at this point I am up 2.5 buy-ins, or, should I consider it up 6 buy-ins minus 1 buy-in for a +5 buy-in session?

Slightly confusing.
But you are for some reason playing fixed limit?
Well in fl you normaly never talk about buyins. You count your winnings in Big Bets instead.

Why it matters, well that is a philosofical question, that I cant figure out an answer to...

He means he is down 1 buyin at table A and up 6 $5 buyins at table B.

So this is +$25

Does he want to see this is a +5 buyin session? Or a +2.5 buyin session as if he bought in for $10.

The answer, is this is a +5 buyin session. If you were playing 4 tables you wouldn't consider a buyin to be $40. You are only adding volume by playing 2 tables, you are not changing the stake.
