I recommend patience for you, you will find a lot LAGs in live games

Use the same face every hand, do not show any kind of sadness or hapiness.

Patience is key. Pay attention to your opponents but don't "stare" them down in the eyes. Honestly, you rarely want to make eye contact when involved in a hand. I'll check out my opponents body language during a hand by glaring over, but other than that I'm typically looking at the board. Play tight, only Premium hands. Play small-medium pocket pairs for cheap only looking to set mine and occasionally suited-connectors if the price is right. Don't "Hero" call with marginal hands, its not tv and its okay to fold. Stay off your phone if possible. You don't want any type of distractions. Try to keep good posture at the table also, it actually helps improve decision making.

And one more thing, Do Not Under Any Circumstance Drink Alcohol!

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Take a look at your cards only when it's your turn to make a move (preflop). You should remember your hand immediately in order not to give yourself away later (in case of a flush-draw, for ex). Try to avoid emotions. It'll be better, if you rehearse all your movements (taking chips, betting etc) - they should not be different/depend on your cards. I mean, act like a robot;)

Ive played a couple live games over the past weeks and have had some decent results. In live games you should assign yourself ranges base on your position. Limping should be a no no and you should look to open raise or fold. If its only like 5 or 6 handed then you can widen your range a bit.once you are in position you should be looking to raises in efforts to steal blinds or to eliminate players with marginal hands who are hoping for a free ride to see the flop (considering you have a strong hand). You will also pick up info from your opponents so that should help in providing you info that would be helpful

Play as usual, as on the PC. It's still your first live poker. And after the game you will analyze your actions and next time it will be easier. Because everyone plays his own way.

Live games play differently than online. In online cash 3x is pretty standard open, +1 for each limper. Every live game is different some play bigger and some small so, try gage the table the first few rounds and adjust.

Observe the players and play cautiously with experienced players and be aggressive with hard players

Don't jump in tight away. Spend some time on the rail to see what the players/dealers are doing. Also, go to the podium and ask for one of their cards that explain rules/procedures.

Very useful information here. I think the difference between online and live poker is huge.

Play your open hand like the net. Dont go all in preflop to much. You want to see a flop. Try to identify who is who on your table and also who is the biggest satck and who is the lower one.

at the first time you will tend to tremble before some bet (mainly on bluffs), i recommend to play very tight and extract some information about the oponents
