I know we have a ton of members who only play freerolls, but do we have any who are strictly surviving off nothing but freerolls?

How many freerolls do you play per day? And do you switch to larger tournaments once you have a bankroll or do you stick to the freerolls?

I generally use freerolls to get me up to $10 or so but then I abandon them for better tournaments.

I'm wondering how much someone could make if they played nothing but freerolls all month and then cashed out at the end?

Well as I have never made a deposit but have real money on every site I play on I fell you can do ok. I take my freeroll winnings and play sit n gos or mtts and build my bankroll. On ACR I won $130 in one freeroll. Watch for the special promotion freerolls and you can make out pretty good.:D:D

I’m in the same boat as you, I’ve never made a deposit but I have real money on the three main sites I play. Like you, I build my BR with freerolls but then switch to MTT’s as soon as I can.

I’m wondering if anyone on here just plays freerolls all month. If anyone is making withdrawals just off of freerolls, or does everyone move up to bigger tournaments?

Freerolls mostly helps to learn the basics, some extend it will help you to build a bankroll if you are extremely talented. most situations you will learn how the fish play in freerolls. nothing much you can expect in the freerolls.

Nice freeroll winnings. I have yet to make final table at a freeroll. The one time I made final table and got all excited it was for nothing because I was in a play money tournament and didn’t realize it.

I have much to learn and more time to invest if I want to make a bank roll from freerolls. Nice to see it is possible.

Easier than paid tournament

Hi,
I used to play by buying from my own money until I got broken a several time. Now I play a lot of freerolls on many sites and it easier and funnier because there is no risk. Only the time you are spending that you can lose. For me, i think it's a good trainning with a chance to win real money, better than playing with playmoney. I recommand to target freerolls with less players to have more chance to win. What do you think about that?

Hi.
Usually, I play 1-2 freerolls a day. On average, I have about $ 5-10 a week.
At 888 there are the main freerolls that I play.
Good luck.

When I play a good card in a freeroll, then I win on a freeroll of 1 dollar and 20 dollars, but if the card does not play very well then I get into the prize zone and win 0.75 cents or 0.85 cents, and then I buy tournaments from 0.25 cents and more and I try to win there, sometimes I win and up to $ 100 or less, but sometimes I lose in the tournament!

Hello.
I play poker for 5 months, and at the moment I play only freerolls. So far I have no good results, but I work on improving my game every day.

Looking at the cardschat leaderboard the best achievement for non us sites is around 200$ per month. In my country this is definitely not enough to live from it but it may help you to pay some bills. In my opinion the purpose of freerolls is to help you to improve your game enough to build some initial bankroll and start playing micro stakes with that.

Some people invest the money they get from freeroll immediately in low stakes games neglecting the rules of bankroll management and they frequently loose them. For me much better idea is to build good bank following the rules of bankroll management before playing even micro stakes games. For example i am trying to build bankroll of 25$ so that i can safely try to play 0.5$ SNGs with it.

Still waiting to make a win from a freeroll but hopeful it will happen soon. I think it just requires both patience and persistence

$ made on Freerolls?

I keep trying to make $1 total profit, but it's Ying/Yang for me. I feel like the icon below. Hit it, go nowhere, and hit it again. A few years back, I did belong to a poker club and won $300+ in a late night tournament finish. Hit several others over $100 on the same site. I know I have lost more than I have won....but not the car, house or my clothes.

Don't care bout the money, though.

Have fun and good luck with your game.

:driver:

I play freerolls every week, winning a few dollars a week that I bet
on his and go tournaments to qualify for the tournament disturbances. I think freeroll tournaments are fun and learning new things all the time.

For the time being I play only freerolls , CC included on 888 , PS and ACR , in 2018 I am up to $200+ , sometimes I play with buy ins $0.55 - $3.30 with success. But still I am waiting for a bigger score $300+. I know is doable with my current approach of the game without saying that I am the best player in the world.

I play 3-4 freerolls very often, almost in daily basis. So the answer for the question is a big yes by me!

If you are at the pokerstars- The League you can get some decent prizes by finishing in top positions of the leaderboards.

I think it's very difficult for somebody to survive freerrols. When I'm broke, I usually play a lot, but as soon as I get something, I'll sit and go to try to grow my bank, and I'm still in freerrol until I have a decent bank.

In my opinion playing with the money won from freerolls directly after you have won them in freeroll is mistake that many people do. There is no point to play SNG or cash if you do not have deep enough bankroll and we know following the good bankroll management that you need at least 50 buyin bank to be able to beat the variance. If you play 0.5$ SNG this means at least 25$ bank is needed to start. Making such bank entirely from freerolls is possible but requires some time. Many people are eager to play and do not follow that rule but taking your time to learn and improve your game so that you consistently have good results in freerolls will help you later when you play SNG or cash for your hardly earned money.
